I've been visiting this place since the 1980"s. Located in German Village it is both a treat and a delight to visit. From the monstrous size of their sandwiches to their barrels of free homemade pickers it's not hard to realise why so many people love the place . If you are coming at lunch time be prepared for a... We stumbled on this deli and so glad we did. Food was delicious, we shared a large sandwich and it was more than enough. Great desert, loved the blondie.

I've been here several times, this was the first time in a bunch of years. Still delicious. I love their reuben. The corned beef is sliced very thin not a lot of fat, the rye bread is very good too. My daughter enjoyed the tuna salad sandwich. It looked very good. Enjoy!

We saw this place the day before when we were at Pistacia Vera just down the street (GO THERE TOO, best French pastries, ever). We came back the next day to explore German Town a little more and decided to try Katzinger's. I had never tried knish or latkes before so we ordered sandwiches and both of those items. Overall... Delicious, delicious, delicious. The #1 Katzinger's Ruben was fantastic, lots of yummy corned beef and the rye bread was excellent. We loved the knish, cherry kugel and red potato salad also. My husband loved the pickles! We'll be back to try more off the menu!! It is a must stop!

I visited this restaurant for breakfast with some friends. This place is very kid friendly. The menus are on chalk boards and can be a bit overwhelming, but you can find almost anything. They also have various desserts. I particularly liked the local raspberry jam. The music playing while we were there was also wonderful- think Otis Redding, Ray Charles,... More

If you love sandwiches and/or great old fashioned Jewish deli's, Katzingers is a must visit when in Columbus. Thy have a deli counter so you can order cold cuts, cheeses and bread to go. When there you must try one of their terrific sandwiches and the help yourself pickles.

I love Jewish deli and this did not hit the mark. I have traveled to NYC just to have 2nd Ave. deli. I am not sure I would walk across the street for katzingers. In fairness the latke was good.

I've been to Katzinger's a few times for sandwiches, salads and pastries. The food quality is good and everything I've had has tasted fine, although overpriced. Where I struggle with Katzinger's is their customer service. I have never encountered a friendly staff member in the half dozen times I've been there. They have a long standing business and name recognition... More

On our way from northern Ohio back to Indy, we used Trip Advisor to find a tasty, interesting place for lunch. Katzinger's fit the bill. Big fans of deli food, we, naturally, got a corned beef sandwich & dill pickle, plus a cherry noodle kugel, cole slaw, and drink. The sandwich & pickle were great. I wished the kugel had... More

Katzinger's Delicatessen - Family owned and operated since 1984!
Our sandwiches are really big - HUGE in fact. We know some of you can't eat that much so we also offer a smaller sandwich - we refer to it as Normal. All sandwiches come with a free help-yourself-from-the-pickle-barrel dill. Choose from traditional "old" or garlicky "new". And we offer plenty of freshly prepared-to-order salads and desserts to tempt you, too. You should leave Katzinger's wanting to come back again - and soon!

We're very proud of our food - Black Angus corned beef prepared by Sy Ginsburg's United Meat and Deli using Sy's special secret ingredient ( many, many tons later and he still won't tell us what it is!)...Chickens raised by Amish families at Gerber Farms... Imported Emmentaler, the original Swiss cheese... Breads made especially for us and delivered daily by Mediterra Bakehouse in Pittsburgh and we hand slice every loaf... Bagels from Sammy's delivered fresh daily... Gluten free bread from Eban bakery of Grove City . Our mayo is Hellmann's. We oven roast our turkeys to moist perfection. We dress our roast beef with lots of garlic and rosemary and roast it to a beautifully pink medium rare. We marinate our brisket for 48 hours before slow roasting to fork tenderness. Our chicken, tuna and egg salads are made with memorable recipes. These are just a few of the fine ingredients we use to create the deli foods of Katzinger's Delicatissen.
