I've visited this Korean restaurant several time, and it is still my favorite Korean restaurant in Columbus. The price of the meal is not expensive, about 20 bucks. They provide Korean tapas and fruit after the meal.
造訪這間韓式料理非常多次, 喜歡他們小菜, 給的很大方, 吃完還可以續. 上菜速度不錯, 價格多在20以下很經濟實惠, 吃不完可以包回家, 飯後也有提供水果
We stopped here late on a Saturday night. Server was polite. I had the yook gae jang, a spicy beef soup. It was good. Dinner was served with 4 banchan dishes which seemed less than I have had at other restaurants in the Columbus and...Cleveland area. They were tasty nevertheless. Hubby had the ja jhang myun. He said the sauce was a bit watery and bland.
I’d come back when I’m in the area again, but hubby wouldn’t order same dish.More
The place can be a bit tricky to find.
Came here with family. The Korean food was quite good.
A couple of caveats: First, they tend to bring the appetizers with the main course, so if you are looking for true appetizers, look elsewhere. Second,...the service can be hit or miss. If you are looking for a romantic night out, this place isn't it. If you are lookng for a good meal at a better price, this is it.More
Restaurant Silla is a very good Korean restaurant. I haven't been there for the karaoke, but they put out an excellent dinner.
We tried both Korean and Japanese dishes and weren't disappointed. The udon dishes were great, as were the soba, sushi, and the hot...pots. Some of the chef's specials were a little costly, the highest price was the black goat stew at thirty-five dollars, but everything else was mid-range, from ten to twenty dollars. The jiampong (spicy seafood soup) was very filling and only eleven dollars--and very tasty. It's not for everyone, though. It's spicy and features a variety of seafood, including squid or octopus. The tempura was perfectly crispy and tasty.
Another specialty is the ja jhang myun, which is noodles in a black bean sauce. It's got all sorts of flavor. and is very filling.
The staff were friendly and efficient. As I said, I don't know about the karaoke, but they do a good dinner.More
This is a wonderful Korean restaurant that is open till very late on weekends (2AM). It is a great place to come after taking a late show or movie. We have come here a few times and have generally been happy with the food.
I'd...highly recommend getting the chef's specials or the hot pot stews. I really like their soft tofu with mixed seafood, egg, and vegetables with spicy sauce (Hae Mul Soon Tofu) as well as their Ox tail soup with noodles. Their Hae Mul Jun Gol (which consists of seafood and vegetables in a spicy broth) is delicious.More
I have been here several times. The wait staff is the best. Authentic Korean dishes that have that KICK I like in my food. I will be back this Saturday, I will take more pictures for you all to see... Broke my tablet on the...last trip, so no pics.More
Finding the plaza in which Silla was located was not a challenge, but spotting the restaurant, nestled away in an alcove was! This only added to the charm as it reminded me very much of similar places I had visited in Korea.
The food was...not the best I have had at a Korean restaurant, but it was good. The selection of sides served with the presentation of the drinks was on par with other locations and was a good blend of spicy and mild dishes.
The prices are reasonable for the portion and quality. I strongly recommend the Kalbi!
The only thing that would have made the meal better was to have cooked the meats at the table.More
Wasn't sure what to expect having not tried Korean food before. However, it was highly recommended because of their authenticity. It may be windowless, but the large, spacious restaurant had a menu of 90+ items including English translations and pictures. We picked a few plates...a shared and weren't disappointed. Entrees come with "mini type salads" including kimchi, sprouts and pickled zucchinis. Dinner ends with a segmented orange to cleanse the palate!
If you despise any type of spice, this probably isn't the place for you.More
This place is a great hidden gem that's been around for ages! They serve authentic tasty Korean food with sushi and some Japanese options. They also have a full stock bar, and Korean drinks like soju by the bottle. This place is great to bring...your significant other, friends, family, or big parties to try something new. There are a lot of regulars, and a large Asian clientele. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is nice and open/relaxing. Definitely served family style. They bring out a bunch of traditional side dishes with every meal, which they have no problem explaining. I'm hooked! Try the Dolsot Bibimbap (mixed rice with beef, veggies, egg, and spicy sauce in a hot stone pot), Kalbi (Korean BBQ short ribs), and the Double Crunchy Spicy roll (Spicy tuna with crunchy tempura flakes). Delicious, we are now regulars!More
