During this SHUTDOWN -- an oasis for pickup and delivery has been the EXCEPTIONAL Giuseppe's Ritrovo.... the restaurant is spotless with 6ft markers for cusotmers waiting on the delicious meal for take away. The pens for credit card signing are all wiped and re-wiped. A...stressful time for all - Giusippe's Ritrovo is an oasis. Staff is so great and welcoming, a real pleasure to offer my hunger to such a phenonemal staff and owners... THANK YOU TO ALL FRONT LINE workers!More

The food is good, some dishes are even very good. But the service is poor. Crowded tables wait staff has to bump into customers to navigate the floor and no matter what, they seem overworked. It’s a shame that such good food in a nice...location is presented in such a mediocre way. If they got rid of a few tables, took reservations, and trained the hostess and wait staff to serve their customers cheerfully and more professionally they’d be a top Italian restaurant. Instead, we’re left with a place with service like any tired old chain restaurant. And that ravioli deserves better than a Chili’s ambiance!More

Wait was long so we assumed it would be great. We had just a simple meal both of us having a wedge salad and spaghetti with meatballs. Wedge salad was ok, nothing great. Then finally we received the spaghetti. It wasn’t cooked long enough. It...still had crunch. The meatballs were spicy. I like hot food but not in meatballs. Waitress never stopped to ask if we needed anything. The other waitresses and busboys picked up our plates and continued with filling our water. I put my husbands dish on top of mine because I didn’t eat the pasta. We didn’t want to send it back because it took so long to get the food. We got there around 7:05, were told 15 min wait and we didn’t eat pasta until almost 8:30. Wouldn’t recommend to go there. Only good thing was the rolls.More

Wonderful Italian restaurant offers a variety of dishes, pasta, and pizza. I discovered it when I expanded my search for gluten-free options in the east side of Columbus. I split a pizza made with gluten-free dough with my daughter. I could not tell that it...was gluten-free. So many products taste horrible when they are gluten-free. My husband loved the veal marsala. The only down side was not knowing where to park. Luckily, there is some parking within a few blocks.More

The food was excellent. It tasted like food you would expect in a restaurant in Italy. The atmosphere felt like being with a big Italian family having a meal. Definitely would eat their again.

This was a nice Italian restaurant and we had the pleasure of listening to live jazz while we ate. I had the Asparagus Ravioli which was tasty.

I was so excited to try Giuseppe’s Ritrovo after many recommendations, but at the end of the dinner I felt the experience was just average. The service was attentive, but not pushy. The staff was very polite and friendly. We started off with the burrata...for an appetizer, but I wasn’t exactly sure how to scoop up the melted mozzarella cheese. It was creamy and delicious, but with only a fork it was hard to navigate the melted cheese. For the entree the table had the eggplant parmigiana, lasagna, and lobster ravioli. Admittedly, I’ve never been a fan of eggplant, but it was pretty tasty. The lasagna was over powered by the flavor of fennel, so it was difficult to appreciate any other flavors. The lobster ravioli was ok, but again, not a lot of flavor. Now let’s talk desserts! The three layer chocolate cake was enough for three to share and was scrumptious! The coppa raspberries and creams was one of the best desserts I’ve had! The crushed pistachios, creme, and raspberries were a delicious treat. Some reviews state this isn’t a good place for kids; not sure I agree. We took our 14 year old and it was fine. Maybe for a family with young kids it wouldn’t be ideal, but for us it was fine. We arrived right when it opened and by the time we left the tables were half full and the place was pretty loud. My husband had to navigate carefully to get out of his seat as to not bump the person behind him. Oh, their Old Fashioned’s are pretty good! Huge ice cubes accompany the tasty drink. At the end of the day I’d say give this place a try, but it’s your average upscale Italian fare. I’d try Moretti’s or Nicola first.More

We made a reservation on a Saturday night to celebrate with family. Making a long story short, due to no fault of staff our 7:30 p.m. reservation was extended to after 8:30... but this story has a happy ending. With such graciousness and genuinely concerned...about our delay, Vesna went way above and beyond to make our evening a memorable one. Providing drinks around and antipasto (which was unbelievable) she was over the top in trying to make it up to us for our delay. Dominic continued her care and concern that we have a wonderful evening. The food and wine was awesome as usual and as we finished up the Tiramasu (again....amazing) everyone in our party was overwhelmed by the wonderful evening that we had even though it had started out a little shaky. Many restaurants would have been unaware or unconcerned about our inconvenience and potentially ruined evening. Not Guiseppes! Vesna, thank you for doing everything you did to make this a night we will always remember.More

We had an excellent meal with wonderful service, plus an entertaining jazz trio on a Monday evening. The homemade Limoncello was delicious.
