Try out the Bistro. Less expensive than upstairs and excellent smaller menu. First class service. Excellent wine menu. Try the three course menu which is a reasonably priced item. No regrets having gone there!

We go the Refectory a few times a year for some extra special occasion. This time it was Mother's Day. The tab this time, before tip, and with just water to drink was $115. But, once in a while, the splurge is worth it. Their French ambiance is great. Their handsomely adorned wait staff delivers heal clicking service. The food... More

I had the luxury of going to the Refectory with my husband for his birthday. We had the 5 course dinner with wine tasting. Every minute of the entire dinner was totally devoted to our happiness, comfort and tasty delight. I would highly recommend this experience. From the first taste of champagne through the dessert, we were pampered with a... More

We have lived in Ohio for 25 years and I have always wanted to go to this restaurant. We finally made it for a very special occasion. We live a little better than 1 hour away. I am glad we finally got there, it was pleasant, but I am not necessarily interested in going back. The atmosphere was pleasant and... More

My friends and I had a lovely evening at the Refectory during restaurant week. The menu was exciting and we all tried new things. Don't expect to get in and out quickly, this is an experience. They aren't trying to turn the tables and get you out. The servers were extremely attentive and friendly and helpful with suggestions. Everything looked... More

Susan, We are so glad you enjoyed the entire evening. We would never try to rush guests out to seat the next table. We make a very conscious effort to let our guests relax and enjoy the dining out experience. However, if guests are on any time-schedule, we are also able to pace them accordingly. We very much look forward... More

Four of us spent a Friday evening at Refectory. This particular dinner took over 5 hours and was tremendous. We enjoyed a cocktail, a bottle of Darioush and Fixin wine, appetizers, dinner and dessert. All dishes were fanastic and included the Portabellini Pork Belly appetizer (so tasty and savory), Goat Cheese appetizer, a seafood appetizer, salads, artichokes. The main dish... More

We are so glad that you truly enjoyed the full dining experience! We would highly recommend an upcoming Dinner Music Series event for another unique experience unlike any other in central Ohio. We began with 6 events per year in 2011 and we now present a 100 events per year in our upstairs private room; which is magically transformed into... More

We haven't visited this restaurant in about 10 years, but found ourselves very pleased. We tried the First Friday (offered the first Friday of each month if you reserve the option) Menu. There were 3 separate courses followed by a unique desert. The food was out of this world fabulous! This menu offering allows you to sample multiple entrees which... More

We went for dinner during Dine Originals Week which is always enjoyable. I ordered the Venison Terrine which is "Out of this World" Delicious! This was followed by the pork tenderloin, also fantastic. This restaurant is never a disappointment for the food, although service may be a little slow if they are having one of the music series in the... More
