Walking around the neighborhood, I found this little gem. Beautiful pastries and Sandwiches. They should rename it the Friendly Baker since the staff was actually quite lovely to all of the clientele. Get there before 10am, it gets packed!

My wife and I have reviewed this before. But, happy to do again, having visited it a number of times. We just love the atmosphere, the people and the food here. We are from Pittsburgh and go to Columbus about 3-4 times a year and we make sure to go the Angry Baker before we head home, usually taking home... More

Yummy biscuits and mushroom gravy for breakfast. Smooth coffee. Good service. Perfect place for a home style bite.

I am going to give this place 3 stars, mostly because my wife's glutin free pancakes were pretty good. Also the fork and knife burrito looked pretty good........however the fork and biscuits and mushroom gravy was inedible, and I eat anything. Is gravy supposed to be purple??

Whenever we are in Columbus, we try to have breakfast here. Their breakfast enchilada is amazing and enough for two people. Coffee is bottomless. Lots of gluten free options to choice from too.

Went there for breakfast one weekend on a recommendation from a friend. It's a super cute local place for popping in and picking up a pastry and a cup of coffee. Ordering breakfast is a different story. It was painful to watch the preparation of our simple meals on the grill in front of us. Like, really painful. It was... More

We tried The Angry Baker based on Trip Advisor reviews, and were totally disappointed. It is a tiny place with seating for about 20 people, 8 of which would be sitting at a counter. It shares a wall with a tiny restaurant. I won't describe the mural that is painted on the outside wall of that restaurant, but you'll get... More

Kitchy; Eclectic menu with vegetarian and vegan options. They also offer animal protein, something for everyone. Closes at 5pm. I had a vegan knife and fork burrito. It was delicious and lovely to behold. Great place for breakfast and awesome baked goods. Doing a good coffee business as well. Wi/fi.

Don't expect fancy, but expect creative, good food. We were there for breakfast on a nice Sat. morning and felt a "neighborhood" feel. The bacon scones were good, seating and age of the bldg was like being in NYC. The crowd showed up as we were done. No servers, but that was OK. Would return for an informal bite.
