Step into The Keep Restaurant and Liquor Bar and you’ll find a chef-driven, modern brasserie with a speakeasy bar. It’s the best of the 1920s, with a 21st Century twist, inspired by its location in historic LeVeque Tower, an art deco masterpiece completed in 1927. Drawing on local and regional ingredients, talented Executive Chef Courtney Nielsen reinvents beloved classic dishes using modern techniques, creativity and a dash of sophistication. Tucked away on the second floor of the Tower, The Keep gives the same imaginative update to its intimate speakeasy lounge. Old-school cocktails enjoy a fresh remake with flavorful house-made syrups and botanicals. The wine list features old- and new-world

My girlfriend and I went here for Thanksgiving dinner. Fixed menu of the usual. We both liked the food. Turkey was moist, fixings were good. It was what we expected for a family style Thanksgiving dinner. The shortcoming was the service. When they brought out...the bread and salad they gave us each a small bread plate. That was the only plate we received until they brought desert. When they brought out the main course, there was only room for a small bit of turkey and dressing on the plate. Furthermore, they did not provide any serving utensils. We got a large spoon for the gravy when we asked for it. I would have thought that would awaken them to the fact that we had no other serving utensils. But it did not. Would we come back? Highly unlikely, especially for a meal to be served family style. I hope by next Thanksgiving the pandemic will be over so we can join relatives for a true family style meal prepared by family.More

The Keep is on our list of favorite date night places. I like their wine selection, salads are fresh and perfectly sized. The menu is limited but it seems like this allows them to focus on delivering perfectly prepared meals consistently. The scallops and salmon...are both great choices if you are looking for something lighter. Our waiter made sure we were finished in time for our show but didn’t make us feel rushed.More

We recently stayed two nights in the Hotel LeVeque, driving to and from a visit with East coast grandkids. Before traveling we called and were pleased with the Marriott procedures in the Keep Kitchen. The food and service was good and the adjacent bar was...also well done. We ate early (6:00) and had plenty of social distancing space.More

Had a nice brunch at the keep. The huevos rancheros are really quite good. The service was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is cool Art Deco. You feel trendy yet classy. Will try again for dinner next time.

I have celiac disease and needed a strict gluten free meal. The chef came out and explained every single menu item and what could be modified. He understood the concept of cross contamination in a shared fryer and said that they just changed the oil....They even comped a salad to try. Food was all excellent. Brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing.More

Located in the LeVeque Hotel, the atmosphere inside The Keep was excellent, and very inviting. Our server was very good, and was very efficient. We had a group of five, and we didn't order anything heavy, mainly sandwiches for lunch...however, we all enjoyed the meals,...and remarked it would be good to come back for a dinner (and to enjoy the cocktail options as well!).More

My wife and I went here for dinner. I didn’t know what to expect really. The inside was nice and upscale, but wasn’t too over the top. The service was excellent. They have a very good wine list, and have quite a few craft cocktails....The onion soup is some of the best I’ve ever had. No joke. My wife and I split a few of the appetizers. The food was excellent and we will return.More

Stayed at the attached LeVeque Hotel as part of our anniversary celebration. Very convenient. Able to get a window seat and enjoy the view. Would highly recommend the soups. Bread was surprisingly an extra charge and looked like they opened a package of Hawaiian rolls....Rather pricey. Service excellent for dinner. Ate breakfast the next day and service was much more laid back but food good.More

We made a Rez on open table for brunch. Upon arrival, found that the place was reserved for private party later that day and our option was a buffet in the bar that we were not interested in. When asking someone to cancel the open...table reservation, he graciously invited us into the restaurant and set us up with a lovely brunch. Called in the chef, who ensured that we could order off the menu. We had a wonderful experience, and were blown away by how welcoming and friendly the staff were.. Plus the food was great! Truly a first class operation. Our waiter (whose name I didn’t catch) deserves plenty of credit for making our morning great.More

We stayed at the Hotel Leveque so eating here was easy for breakfast and lunch for two days. Breakfast was good, but eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc. are pretty easy. Lunch had more wow to it. I had the Croque Madam with a great cheese sauce,...ham and fried egg. This was awesome. i wish they had it on the breakfast menu as it would be perfect. The bar is also very nice. The service was great and there was plenty of different areas to sit and relax (bar, large tables, comfortable seating areas, etc. ). Really quite nice. The croque madam was a 5 star and the other items were good.More
