We were guests in the hotel, so joined friends in this restaurant/bar upon arrival. The pinot noir was very smooth, our server was fun and attentive, and the food was fine. I tried a meatball that had a bourbon twist, and caesar salad. The setting is nice in this historic building, although a bit drafty in areas.

This spot offers a nice vibe/after work social environment. From the welcoming spirit of the hostess (her name escapes me at the moment) to our OUTSTANDING bartender in Butterfly and the huge selection of bourbon in between this has easily risen to a must visit for future business trips to the area. The wings were good, the lobster Mac and cheese was delicious, but the bread pudding was to die for! Added bonus? Butterfly offered some solid advice on where I could possibly score some Wellers to take back to Florida and we scored off her solid advice. If considering a chill atmosphere with great selection and a positive vibe, I highly recommend you check it out for yourself.

This is by far my best experience! Dayon and Onisha are absolutely AMAZING! I dropped in for happy hour as I am a whiskey/bourbon chick. They were both inviting and entertaining! I will definitely come back as my old fashion was so good. I appreciated the extensive bourbon collection and they single-handedly saved my Columbus experience and they were attached to my hotel Residence Inn!!!! Love themđź’ś

I will be back! The food was good, had the pecans, wings, and shrimp scampi flatbread. All were good. The bar tending is what will bring me back. Dayon was phenomenal. Exactly what you expect in an upscale bar. Great knowledge, knows how the different liquors mix, and made some of the best drinks I have had in years. I travel to Columbus every few months, and this will be my regular stop. Hopefully Dayon is working each time, can’t wait to return!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. Tucked neatly in the corner of the Residence Inn, they knock it out of the park with the Bourbon selection (of course) but moreover the food! My husband and I split the Lobster Truffle Mac along with my Vault Burger & his French Dip. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the service we received from the entire staff, but especially Ashley... she was attentive to everyone and had such a fantastic attitude and personality. If you are looking for an intimate, delicious and comfortable experience; this is where you want to be!

Stayed in Columbus for one night and found this gem of a bar in downtown. It is in the lobby of a hotel but has its own atmosphere. I had the flatbread pizza which was very good. But I really liked the drinks. I enjoyed 2 old fashions done exactly to my taste (not too sweet and enough kick from the bitters). I suggest this place if you are in downtown Columbus or passing through and need a great cocktail.

Had decent spinach and artichoke dip and hummus at buckeye bourbon house when there for an event. The space was open and airy. Right off of gay street

VERY slow service. Food was ordered. Sliders. Wings. Salad. Soup. Ordered at 712 food still not here at 752. It’s a bar. No one else is eating. Ridiculously slow.

It is just a regular bar but they do have a nice selection of "brown" liquors including a few good Japanese whiskey's. Nice place to go for bourbon's, scotches and the like.

This is an interesting bar, serving as both a lobby bar for the attached Residence Inn, and in an old bank building to boot. It is very much open air in here. There wasn't much of a crowd on a weekday evening, and grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender here was excellent. They obviously have a great whiskey selection here. Being a "hotel lobby" bar, the prices were a bit expensive, but still....did I mention the whiskey selection? They had a bunch of Ohio whiskeys here, which were just OK. But, if you stick to some of the better known stuff, you can find a lot of options here.

Great place for after work. Historic building in great location only 1 1/2 blocks from the Ohio Statehouse. Several other great restaurants around make this a popular area.

Went here for a fellow college's retirement party... The service was amazing and the team put us in the back corner closest to the street which made the setting even more perfect. The bourbon list was very good as you would expect, at the time they even had all the Whistle Pig Ryes available! Also a really decent selection of scotch, blended and single malts!! Thanks Buckeye Bourbon House team, I can't wait to come back...

Great bourbon selection, with old fashions, pours, and tastes. We also grabbed a Big Plate charcuterie and played some shuffle board in between drinks. Cool place!

We stayed at the Residence Inn for two nights while we were attending a convention. The first night we ate at the bar and the burgers were good, though I asked for medium rare and received well done. The old fashioned drink was good, though nothing special. On the second night we ate elsewhere but decided to try the cheesecake for dessert. We ordered it to go as we wanted to save it a while and eat it in our room later. When we finally opened the to-go box to eat it, we busted out laughing. This was the SMALLEST slice of cheesecake I had ever seen. Seriously, my index finger is longer than the slice of cheesecake. It was embarrassingly small. It was late so we didn't call down to complain. But at $7 a slice, for what looked to be a store bought "slice" of cheesecake, I would expect a bit more. Sorry, Bourbon House, that really takes the rating down.

Da wife and I stopped in while walking an arts and crafts festival on the street in front of it. Nice, bright clean place. Lots of games like table shuffleboard, chess, other things to do. Large selections of bourbons. Good beer selection. Didn’t try the food but the menu items looked interesting.
