This place nailed it - and I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food. I literally take trips to Chicago and LA just to eat at Rick Bayless' places there (ok, I might usually have other reasons for going - but not always!) I didn't check out the upstairs - but that's where the dining room is and apparently... More

My friend chose this restaurant based on the food network review. When looking at the menu, I wasn't very excited because it is not traditional Mexican. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic and the portions were more than we could eat! The goat cheese guacamole is a must. Their chips were unusual and very good. We both... More

This place is a great place to stop and meet your friends or make some some friends! The food is made to order and they do not take RSVP for large parties. Great atmosphere. Great food. Overall Great!

Good service. Guacamole is outstanding and unique. Impressed every time I come. Hard to get in if arriving after 6 pm

A colleague and I visited Momocho on a Thursday evening around 7:00. Parking was tough as all the street parking was full for blocks around, but we finally found a place. When we got to the restaurant and went in, the hostess said we’d have a 45-minute to an hour wait, so we sat at the bar, which had a... More

The place is awesome! Great service . greeted as soon as one foot entered the door. Our bar tender knew about everything down to a T. We had the Queso Fund I do to start all three! We had dinner on a Sunday night as we couldn't get in on Saturday. It was worth the trip. Margarita's were delicious (tiny bit sweet for me), appetizers very tasty. We had guac and chips, fried peppers. Good tequila selection for up north too. For dinner, we all loved our food. Chile reillo Smoked Gouda Tamale Dumplings,Poblanao Chile Relleno, Machaca... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Be sure to make a reservation. We had a 45 minute wait, but were offered a table on the patio. We ordered our food and drink inside and brought the food outside. The food was delicious. The restaurant is dog-friendly on the patio. The Shishito peppers, beef short rib tamales, cornmeal chile rellano were... More

Loved our visit for National Tequila day- or was it National Margarita day? After a few of them, it's hard to remember. Enjoyed a trio of guac, a remolacha with beets, peanuts, peppers and onions and a trout covered with pepitas. Finished off with a wonderful and refreshing flan. Great meal and atmosphere, modest prices.
