My expectations were very low walking into this tired looking small diner. There is absolutely zero ambiance and the waitstaff never smiled but the food knocked it out of the park. The Singapore Mei Fun and hot and sour soup were among the best I ever had! It seems like most of the diners are blue collar guys on their lunch break and the servings are big enough for a hungry man (or woman) or as two meals for lighter diners. Everything was fresh and soooooo good.

My wife were in the neighborhood and need a place for dinner and stopped here. Very nice looking place and the one fellow running the front was nice.
The food was pretty much your typical Americanized Chinese food. Good, but nothing special. The quantities were generous and it was very reasonably priced.
Though I rated it 4 out 5, it probably is closer to 3.5. If you are in the neighborhood and need some Chinese, it is a good choice, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I love their Sweet and Sour Chicken. My wife likes their Pepper Steak or General Chen's. We almost always order to go. Not a big fan of the eat-in restaurant.

This location can be difficult to access from Brookpark , coming from the east, during rushhour times. Keep that in mind since it is pretty much the corner of Brookpark and Broadview.
They used to have great sushi but stopped for some reason.
The food is consistently good and kind of unique.
Chinese, Japanese, Thai and even Hawaiian flavors.
Huge menu, dont miss it!

Ate and Jackie Chen's tonite and it was delicious!!! Haven't been here in a while and I'm asking myself why. Ordered teriyaki chicken and the chicken is so fresh and tender. Also ordered general chen's chicken (like general tso's), and it was probably the best I've had. Definitely will be back here soon!!
Portions are very generous and prices are reasonable.

Authentic oriental food. Fresh soups. And delish shrimp chips. They make them fresh....so good. We usually order the lunch special, and do a few add ons...

I had the dinner which included soup, shrimp chips, samplers and then I ordered General Tso's Chicken. Everything was very tasty and fresh tasting. My son had the broccoli and beef which was also very fresh tasting. He didn't even have left overs. We ate inside and our server worked every moment from take out orders to serving the two tables inside. She really could've used help.

Haven't been to Jackie Chen's in a while and we went last night. Didn't disappoint I ordered Pad Thai w chicken and shrimp, very good. My daughter's ordered honey chicken and orange chicken and they were good as well. They no longer have sushi, but did add some new items to the menu. Prices are average to other Chinese restaurants in the area.
