My husband and I stopped in at Guarinos on a very busy a Saturday night. It took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge and seat us, but once seated we were pleased with everything else. The decor is very eclectic and glitzy. Dark walls, lace accents and candles galore. We ordered the presuito stuffed olives, chicken parm and feta... More

Portions were large and bread was good, but otherwise it was very average. I had chicken piccata and it was rather dry. My friend's marinara sauce pasta was better.

My family and I have been coming to Little Italy and going to the restaurants along Mayfield Road for years. It took us a long time to try Guarino's which is supposedly the oldest restaurant on the hill. We went for lunch and enjoyed prompt, attentive service. The Braciole I had was good as were the Chicken Parmigiana and Ravioli... More

This is one of the oldest restaurants around in Little Italy, and, unfortunately, it shows. It serves very standard southern Italian food and while it was OK and the portions were large, it wasn't good enough to make us want to go back. The Atmosphere was very casual family.

Unlike our previous visit in commemoration of my birthday, the Seafood platter was filled with fake crab & mushy pasta, & the lasagna was absent of any flavor worth talking about. "Mushy" Pasta!

We stopped here for lunch during a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded at all, about 4 tables filled. Our waitress, Suzy, was not very cheerful nor much of a waitress. She took our order fast enough but we soon ran out of drinks and ended up asking the bus boy for refills. Our water glass was never refilled even... More

While visiting Cleveland recently, and staying in the University Circle area, my husband and I were dismayed to find that there were but few restaurants - and only franchise sandwich shops - open for lunch within several blocks of our hotel. It was a Monday, so no big surprise. So, we ventured up the road and into Little Italy. We... More

This is my cousin's absolute favorite restaurant in Little Italy, possibly all of Cleveland as well. In my opinion it rates well above many others in Little Italy for atmosphere and food. The twinkle lights and little chandeliers along the walls add a little something special to the experience and the rich reds in the decor make the restaurant feel... More

After a day out seeing the city we wanted to stop in Little Italy for a quick bite to eat. Honestly the only reason we went to Guarino's was b/c they had an open parking lot. The man who greeted us (and even opened the door for the ladies) was very friendly. Inside, not so much. The waitress was kind... More
