A group of 10 of us went here for a birthday gathering. The food was very good but we first ordered some apps to pass around and the portions were small for the $$. The "large" brussel sprout app for sharing was barely enough for 2 and the home made focaccia bread was good but small so we got a... More

Favorite restaurant in Ohio City. If you want really good food in Ohio City, this is where you need to go first! Lots of other places also have "fresh and local" now - but not every place excels in execution like Flying Fig does. They just know how to make things taste good! And look good, and smell good... Very... More

We were waiting for seating at the brewery across the street, and noticed this place. We bailed on the brewery and boy, were we glad we did. It was fantastic and service was the best.

This place was a culinary delight. Every dish we tried was excellent. There are unique dishes to try, all very good. The gnocchi with chorizo and peas was to die for. The rhubarb smash libation was quite tasty as well. Loved this place!!

Lovely outside dining area and excellent food. Everything was fresh and very different from the normal menu items. The Huevos Rancheros were better than I eat at the Mexican restaurant here in Florida. Turkey sandwiches were also a treat. Worth the time to eat here and prices were very fair

Literally, everything I put in my mouth was delicious. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing. The cheese plate was a great appetizer. The beet salad was delicious and enough for 2 to share. The pappardelle pasta was fantastic. The service was prompt, helpful, and friendly. The bartender was skilled and all cocktails was delicious.

We stopped at the Flying Fig for a quick lunch on the way to the market. There is a very nice outdoor dining area on a quiet street. A quaint area for lunch. I had the roasted chicken and Brie sandwich with homemade chips. It was delicious. The service was very good. Attentive and friendly.

Went to the Flying fig for dinner because it was recommend ed by some friends. The restaurant was very Ohio City and the food was outstanding. If you get the CLE seats app, their is a discount code for a free dessert which is of course my favorite part. Will definitely go back. They also have an amazing happy hour.

Short and sweet; average food, cool vibe, too loud to hear your friends talking. We were seated "in the window" at the front and the restaurant is rectangle shaped with a high ceiling. It was just too loud to hear any conversation between the five of us. If you do decide to go, parking at the top of the street... More
