I love this place. I LOVE the food. The prices are outstanding. The bar is great. But the staff is what really floored me. Every single person that we interacted with was extremely kind to us. Kevin and mike where so welcoming and engaging. Honestly, I can't wait to come back with a big group of my friends.
If you like (or love) Polish food, go there. It is cafeteria style, but the wait in the line is worth it. There are sandwiches and hot food, but be sure to get the pierogies. They are just like I used to make with my grandmother. They are only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday.
My college-aged son raved about this "Polish restaurant in Cleveland" after his friend from the area took him here. So when our family was in the area, we decided to give it a whirl. It was not fancy, but it certainly reminded me of my Polish upbringing...cozy, welcoming, and definitely filling (YOU WON'T GO HOME HUNGRY!) The kielbasa (smoked) wasn't... More
I went here for the first time last year, and I can't figure out why it took me so long! Delicious Polish food and HUGE servings. You will leave stuffed and happy. The location has an excellent view of downtown, staff is lovely, and it's well worth the wait if you come on a day with a long line. Go... More
Chalked it up to another experience, friendly patrons and everyone was eager to help. Can't say the same about one of the ladies who dished up my fry fish. Loved that everything was kept as is, a time period, and not rush to keep up with the trendy stuff. Originality is wonderful. Fun getting there, it's a bid hidden. Food... More
We went here while visiting friends in Cleveland based on TripAdvisor reviews and were very happy with our decision. The food is cafeteria style and we had to wait in line about an hour on a Saturday night but it was worth it and I would definitely go back next time I'm in Cleveland. All of the employees were super... More
Met some friends on Friday evening for dinner. Took their advice and got here when they opened at 5p. If we would have arrived an hour later, the line would have taken another hour beyond that just to get to the front of the line! This is the oldest operating family-owned restaurant in Cleveland (opened in 1923.) Food is served... More
Went with a friend last night for the first time, having lived in CLE for 30 years. The view of downtown, bridges and bldgs lit up is like a postcard from the front of the restaurant. Long line but well worth it! Had the roast beef, potato pancake and Piergies. Excellent! Great draft beer too! They also give you a... More
