We were told 30 minute wait but it was faster. Very busy so that was a good sign! We had pancakes, waffles, bacon, chicken Philly, and home fries. Our order was taken quickly and drinks delivered promptly! Pancakes and waffles were delicious! Bacon was cooked...perfectly and chicken Philly was good too. Home fires were so good! Headed here on a recommendation (before the Christmas Story House). Beautiful neighbourhood. Google showed a wait, but we were seated instantly on the heated outdoor patio. Brilliant sunshine blazing... right choice. Biscuit and Gravy Eggs Benny? Yes Please. And the homemade lemonade was fantastic.

I had one of the breakfasts topping the Cajun home fries, and my companion had one of the lunch options with the Cajun home fries. Both options were large enough that we had a few leftovers, and were flavorful. No complaints. Service was great, even...though we went in about an hour before closing. They were out of some of their options regrettably, but they refilled our drinks promptly. I can see why this place is an institution in Tremont. Will come by again, if in the area.More

My family and I went there for breakfast. The food tasted ok but wasn’t anything special. Portion size was small to moderate for what you’re paying. I’ve had much better tasting food for a much more reasonable price. I wasn’t impressed with the wait staff...at all. I felt like I was being rushed the entire time I was there. A bus person kept staring at us as if to give the impression that we were taking too long. As soon as we were finishing our meals, the same bus person wasted no time coming over to clear our plates and no one asked if we wanted more coffee. Needless to say, I won’t be back.More

Overall I would rate grumpys average at best. I have been here about 20 times and the food and staff continue to be average. Omelets are thin with veggies and meats inside very chunky. It is one of the last places in Cleveland that have...the Covid booths still set up. ,staff wears masks for some guests while unmasking for customers they seem to know and generally cold to most guests.. It is a place with a good vibe and always a line out the door, but ends up being averageMore

We came to Cleveland Clinic and just wanted to grab a good breakfast before we headed home. Didn’t want to go to a usual chain. Grumpy’s did not disappoint! The menu was unique. The food and service was just terrific. Family friendly, great menu and excellent staff. The restaurant feels very homey, yet very unique. The meatloaf sandwiches were amazing. The food appeared to be very well prepared. No sluggishness after. You know how meatloaf can have that...effect on you because of the fillers lol not this one. Highly recommend.More

We stopped at Grumpy’s on our way from Cleveland to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. We had an excellent breakfast and the wait staff was excellent. They have beautiful artwork on the walls that are for sale. Highly recommend Grumpy’s if you’re in Cleveland.

This was our 1st visit to Grumpy’s. We read great reviews and decided to give them a try. We were seated right away. In less than 1 minute, the waitress was at our table, coffee and water. I ordered the Reuben Omlet, my wife the...Sausage/Gray/Benedict. Quicker than Ronald McDonald, our food was served and absolutely wonderful! The menu has many other offerings that we will definitely be back. Five stars for Grumpy’s!!More
