An unexpected Cantonese/Hong Kong family meal place we found in Cleveland , very popular with local chinese families and Asian students in the university near by. The shrimp noodle soup is delicious and Yuzi fried toufu is fresh, soft and tasty

This is real deal Cantonese/Hong Kong style food that I grew up eating… in Cleveland! Who knew? I’m Hong King this place would be about average but out here I am quite impressed and would highly recommend. Prices were good and staff was friendly. Menu...had many things that I wanted but didn’t get to try. Bathrooms were even clean (which of course is not a given for a Chinese restaurant!).More
Expansive menu with specialties of Hong Kong Cantonese. Had Chow Fun, Yu Choi, and shrimp wonton soup. Need more trips to determine best choices, but bound to satisfy anyone you group, including those wanting authentic Chinese chicken and pork specialties. Friendly service, good portions, fair...pricing.More
The restaurant provides authentic Chinese food. Opens late and the service is fast. Highly recommended!
It’s after 8:00pm and they weren’t many restaurants open this late at Cleveland downtown area, so we went to this restaurant simply because it’s open. And the area wasn’t the nicest part of downtown and we didn’t expect anything good at all….. I was WRONG!...We tried pot stickers, Chinese broccoli with garlic sauce, Yang Chow fried rice, and seafood chow mein, and they are all DELICIOUS!!!More
I don't know if it was company or the food, but we had a terrific time at this forgotten gem of a restaurant. We tried all sorts of foods not on the menu and were there for hours.
Great tasty Chinese food. We visit every time we are in Cleveland. Authentic. Friendly people. Not the nicest area in town but awesome food. Restrooms are clean
I love Chinese food, but since being diagnosed with a gluten allergy it's been difficult to order because of soy sauce. I mentioned my allergy to the waitress and she suggested a few plates and had no problem omitting the soy sauce and swapping the...original noodles for rice noodles. She also told me which plates she though would taste fine without soy sauce and which ones I should avoid. I ended up with vegetable fried rice and a noodle dish and had no problems with it. The people I was with enjoyed their food too, especially the dumplings. Overall, a good experience and I will probably go back!More
Friend said Wonton Gourmet was the best Chinese restaurant in Cleveland, so we had lunch there. Service was mediocre. After waiting 15 minutes for dishes, I was ready to walk out, as I usually do when I'm ignored in places that want my money. Soup...was mediocre, wontons, too doughy, tasteless. Stir fry black bean with short rib was inedible; could have chewed on my leather belt for the same experience. Sauce was like glue, also tasteless. To be fair, food served other tables looked good; it was seafood and veg dishes.More
First time visiting. I was in the area, so I thought I'd try them out. Other reviews were favorable, so I ordered shrimp egg foo yung to be safe. Very bland and tasteless. I was disappointed. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant...and the decor, which made me hopeful about the food. I know I won't go back.More
A bit plain looking on the exterior, this little restaurant has a lot to offer!!! Tons of menu options, and as we had 8 in our group, we tried a lot!! Fresh ingredients and authentic preparation and flavors!! A delicious find, will be back!
For a hole in the wall restaurant, great food, tremendous portions and good prices, this is the place to go. Not too far from the Cleveland Clinic, about 10 minutes away. We knew we in the right place when we saw a mix of Asian...and non Asian customers. People were enjoying all different dishes from beef soup to fish dishes. My wife had orange beef, which she said was the best she had ever had. I had moo goo gai pan with a copious amount of sliced chicken; done just right. I saw so many different dishes through pictures on the wall and the menu, it was truly a foodies paradise.More
On my recent trip to Cleveland, I started searching for reviews on the best beef chow fun in the area and came upon a review for this restaurant. My husband and i decided to try it out and we were not disappointed. We tried the...3 flavor shrimp dumpling with noodle soup and we had the Beef Chow Fun dry and the Beef Chow Fun with gravy. Both Chow Fun dishes were honestly some of the best I have ever had. We are from NY and have been to Chinatown many times. This place was fantastic and we would definitely recommend it.More
Ordered lunch via Grubhub. Arrived ridiculously quick and stayed hot since it was way earlier than quoted. I had the Szechuan tofu and it was very good! Took a star off as there was only 4 pieces of scallion pancake, most places serve much more....I'll order again but skip the scallion pancake.More
Saw some pictures of this place on the web and decided to try it. The wonton soup was just like the soup I had in Hong Kong in October. Delicious and authentic food - had the hot and spicy wontons, potstickers, and calamari. All was...great and can't wait for a return trip for lunch. It was packed when we got there at 12:30 on a Wednesday - it's not huge by any means, but always good to see a healthy crowd!More
