I was fortunate to be able to get in line with only one other person on a Monday afternoon. The line soon started wrapping around the corner and I now know why. This was honestly the best gyro I ever had! The gyro meat was super moist and bursting with flavor! The tzatziki sauce was out of this world and... More

Stopped by the WSM today and there was no line, so I had to have a Gyro. Just a Big as ever, great sauce.

I used to work within walking distance, so this was a regular lunch stop. Jumbo gyro w/ extra sauce, sloppy but oh so fresh and delicious, best I've ever had by far. Every once in awhile I still get the craving and have to go get one, but I have to pick my spots because anywhere around lunch hour you... More

You would be hard pressed to find a better Gyro. Abundant chunks of lamb, perfect sauce & pita.i could not finish the "regular", can't imagine the "jumbo". I agree, well worth the wait!

There is a reason the line is so long. The gyro is worth the wait. People drive to the West Side Market specifically to get this perfect gyro.

Get the large - it's HUGE and you can make 2 meals out of it for ten bucks. It's fresh, it's carved off what I call the spinning wheel of deliciousness. Oh, and do some grocery shopping while you're at the Market!

The gyros by Steve are the best anywhere. It is worth waiting in the long queue to get the regular or the double gyros. The meat and the special sauce goes well with the veggies included on the sandwich. A visit to the West Side Market ALWAYS includes a stop at Steve's Gyro.

I've had a lot of gyros in my life, but this was probably the best. Arguably my favorite pita and meat I've ever tasted, arguably the most meat I've ever had on a gyro and a very unique and delicious sauce. Great buy for 8 bucks. We went on a Wednesday and there was no wait and they were extremely... More

Absolutely delicious and HUGE. The woman taking orders and making the gyros was very personable. Absolutely worth the 30-40 minute wait in a long line for a bite of deliciousness! Meat was so tender and juicy.

OK - I have been to West Side Market many times and always looked at the line for Steve's Gyros and never wanted to take the time to wait. The wait is well worth it. The gyros are piled high with everything you could possibly want and the sauce is excellent.
