It was pleasing to find this restaurant has maintained high quality standards despite its popularity. Reserved through Open-Table, we were seated on arrival in a cozy interior space overlooking the patio (which filled). A good wine list and nicely done martini. My wife had the baked cod and I had the plat-du jour which was Walleye with Lobster Quenelle. Both... More

The location is great and the space is interesting, if not also oddly divided. The service is casual but informed, warm and attentive. I was expecting more from the food which was solid but not outstanding. The mussels with Pom Frits were odd, soggy and a bit bland and the confit with spaetzle was also bland with an unpleasant texture.... More

We always have lunch here when visiting the Museum, but certainly believe caliber of the establishment to warrant visit at other times throughout the year. Without question, the patio is the place to be when weather permits ... a truly peaceful oasis within the bustling city. Try the cassoulet! But there are many other paths to culinary enjoyment as well.

L Alabatos Brassie and Bar is a great place to eat with a fine menu. For dessert, you may want to try many of their excellent selections or their cheese tray. They have so many wonderful cheese selections, which is so much fun to hear the story of each one. Ask for Danny as your waiter. The patio is very... More

Have been wanting to try L'Albatros for a couple of years and it was worth the wait! The patio looked cozy and private but alas rain left us indoors. The restaurant is small but service is exceptional. We ordered the French toast appetizer which is not to be missed. The artichoke was not a favorite and felt the lemon aioli... More

There food is very good and their wait staff excellent. Had a corn soup last week that was the essence of pure sweet corn flavor. Biggest complaint is that the place is so popular they crowd you in and have very little room or privacy.

One of my favorite restaurants in University Circle. The outdoor patio is a treasure. The menu offers wonderful exquisite entrees, or for lighter meals hors-d’oeuvres, salads and fantastic soups. I truly appreciate their vegetarian options. Enjoyable for a birthday or a special night out.

I have reviewed L'Albatros several times on this site and I am pleased to say that our experience last evening - once again demonstrates the care, training, professionalism, and superb quality that one experiences at L'Albatros. The food is outstanding -- and to be expected at a ZB restaurant. What I enjoy almost as much as the food -- is... More

Great service Food was terrific and the location makes for a nice evening stroll afterwards Note to reader: I visited in August, I make no such promises for the evening stroll in January.
