Excellent experience! Took slightly longer than I was told but it was certainly worth the wait. I loved the theme and atmosphere and the staff were so nice. I wasn't sure if I'd like smoked meat over the ribs I'm used to, but I've become...a big fan. Ribs and brisket are very juicy.More

Ordered the samplers plate that had 2 ribs, some sausage, and some brisket. Ribs were ok - but the sauce was too sweet. The Brisket seemed like it had been sitting in juice for too long and had lost a lot of flavor. The potato...salad was ok, but had more pickles in it than I expected. Corn bread was good but could have had more corn flavor.More

Best big meaty smoked ribs in Cleveland! Loved all the 3 different sauces that you can add at the table. Great cornbread! Ok coleslaw. Don't serve liquor yet but will soon. Great Banana Pudding. Counter service for now. Dining area with Tables & Chairs and...cool late 60's Americana decor, music & vibe. This will be our favorite rib joint from now on for sure!More

I just came to Ohio, freezing cold, stressed and alone. I walked into Ohio City BBQ because it looked wonderful from the outside, bluesy, homey and very Christmassy!...I was hungry and exhausted. Keith was at the register, I was completely indecisive...maybe this, no maybe that,...how much will this cost, what about that? He was so patient and kind and offered his suggestions and favorites and was so friendly and really seemed to care that I got exactly what I wanted!...and I didn't even know what I wanted! In the end I got the 2 most awesome bbq'd items ever! Eli, the cook joined right in on assisting me! He told me it's be a bit to cook it but he's make sure it was great! Boy was he true to his words! Those two served me up like I was the VIP of the city! The music was absolutely spot on perfect and the guys made me feel like they were so happy to have me as their guest! The food...AMAZING!!! I have to say one if the best BBQ flavors I've ever had and I'm not young, I'm also a huge travelor...49 countries in the past 10 years...and I love flavorful food! Delicious! And lots of it. The baked beans were phenomenal...who says that about baked beans?! The cornbread was light and delicious. The coke skawMore

We stopped here on our drive from Minnesota to Washington DC- we were hungry for BBQ and this place met our expectations. We asked some locals for their recommendations and ended up trying the pulled pork, ribs, and the brisket. Everything was great! We hope...to return here again!More

My friends and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat before a glass blowing class nearby. We received wonderful service and excellent BBQ. It was such a pleasant surprise! The dirty fries, fried green tomatoes, and mac and cheese were amazing! Plus, we...were treated to dessert :) Thanks Ohio City BBQ!!!More

My friend and I were in the area and we stopped here based on the reviews. We ordered the full rack of ribs, mac & cheese, greens, cornbread, fried wings and fries. The ribs were good. They could have been more tender. The sides were...too expensive for the amount that you got. They were not shareable. They were pretty much a child size portion. My friend said the greens were just okay. The mac & cheese was just okay too. The cornbread was dry with no flavor and we were not given any butter. Now onto the fried wings. They were not seasoned well and they were very undercooked. We finished cooking them in the microwave because we didn’t want to throw them away. The staff were very nice. Unfortunately, we will not return back to the restaurant. The undercooked wings were a huge turnoff.More

Really excellent bbq and the value was astonishing. My husband and I split a platter and had MORE than enough between us. Fries were great! Fried green tomatoes OUTSTANDING. Will definitely be back.

If you love smoked foods the way I do, you need to get yourself in here! Moreso, if you’re a foodie who wants something indigenous to CLEVELAND, what are you waiting for?!! The staff is super friendly. The restaurant itself is so quaint it makes...you want to eat your takeout order right there. Beautiful deco. Fun to peruse. In street parking right out front (I went in the evening). Down to the nitty gritty- I bought the Ohio City Combo. Pulled pork, brisket and ribs with baked beans and slaw and a slice of cornbread. O.M.G. I noticed they have polish boys. I’ll be back!!!!!!More

My bf and I stopped by OCB after seeing Phantom of the Opera and it was amazing. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the cook and the woman taking orders. The BBQ platter was recommended and it was spot on. You...got ribs, pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, baked beans, and coleslaw. Holy cow was it amazing! The pulled pork was the best I've ever had and my bf loved the brisket and the ribs. They had 3 different BBQ sauces, all of which were great. If you are in Cleveland and looking for good BBQ, this is the place. I highly recommend Ohio City BBQ.More
