Phenomenal BBQ sandwiches. Stuffed with succulent pulled pork or pork belly with a beautifully balanced vinegar based slaw. Hit it out of the park! Strawberry Rhubarb pie was wonderful.

Dinner was majestic. We both had the brisket on a bun. Large selection of alcohol, I don’t drink, my wife had a few. Andrew, our server was excellent. Visiting from Toronto. Will be back for lunch or dinner on our next trip.
I went here for lunch. It wasn’t crowded. The bourbon list was great. I ordered some of everything. The turkey and pork belly were great. The brisket and ribs were also pretty good. I really enjoyed it.
We tried the Mabel restaurant where the old B Spot was at Eaton Place. A lot of money for dry tasteless food.with the exception of the Turkey sandwich. Our order came out fast and the staff was friendly but the 1/2 rack of ribs was...very dry. Only a bite or two of the ribs were edible. The sides of broccoli salad and fried potatoes were worth a taste. We took leftovers home but threw them away. A lot of money for tasteless or in the riling case inedible. Sorry Mr. Simon but not impressed with the taste of your food. .More
My dad and I had a great meal here. The food was great, as was the service. I would recommend it if you’re in Cleveland looking for a great BBQ place!
great restaurant located in the entertainment area. the serice is good and the food is very good as you would suspect being from a famous chef. the only issue i would say was they kind of limit you to your selections - wish you could...order like a 1/4 pound of meat and not just the 1/2 pound size. the mint lemonade was excellent and the service was really good.More
We recently visited Cleveland for the first time snd count ourselves very luck to have happened upon Mabel's BBQ. Over the years we've had BBQ in some highly rated places and this was genuinely up there with the best. Three of us had their 'This...is Cleveland' combo and the fourth had 'Boss Hog'. We all shared three sides; a fried potatoes, a loaded potatoes and a smoked brisket chilli with sour cream & cheddar cheese. We enjoyed everything but especially the 'This is Cleveland', the loaded potatoes and the smoked brisket chilli. Total cost, including three drinks, was $140, which we thought was excellent value for money. Lovely, 'Sassy' service from Sydney too!More
We were so excited to finally try this place. I had brisket and my wife had pork belly. We got 4 slices of each. The pork belly was really good. The brisket was pretty dry. I really had to use a lot of bbq sauce...to get thru it. The greens were excellent as a side. Also had the pecan pie for dessert. Instead of a simple piece of pie, it was a mini pie with a lot of crust. Even the guy sitting next to me was a little disappointed. He dug out the filling while I muscled thru the crust. Overall it was a lot of hype. Glad we went but will have a hard time finding a reason to go back. Too bad, I really like Michal Simon.More
BBQ overpriced and leaving you unfulfilled. I stopped in while visiting. I had two beers and the brisket. Almost $20 and no sides for the brisket. I also ordered the Brussel sprouts as a side. The beer was the best thing I had, the brisket...was average at best and the Brussels sprouts were a nice surprise but a side or two should come with the meal. The BBQ sauce was horrific and very watery almost to the point it looks like they watered it down so they wouldn’t run out. The service was good and the food came quick. They close early on the week days so I would probably choose somewhere else the next time I am in town.More
Absolutely great service. Very fast and friendly. Had the brisket, ribs and brisket chili. Everything was excellent. What really sets this place apart is not only the food but the bar and the bourbon list. Well over 200 bourbons on the list, great selection. Prices...are up there, but the choices are huge. Had the Weller Antique 107 which was $19 for a 2oz pour. It's nice that they offer a large single cube, rocks or neat. I would return.More
I was in Cleveland Ohio for a three-day conference. I tried different places to eat. We went to Mabel's one day. I ordered collard greens, potato salad, briskets and baked beans. I was disappointed to know that the greens came with Rye Bread. They were...not good; the potato salad was bland, briskets tasted ok and baked bean was not seasoned to me. I hate to say nothing was delicious I wasted $45.00 on food I did not eat. I can't speak on the other foods but what I ordered was not tasty at all. Never again will I visit Mabel's. Thank you sorry I could not give a great reviewMore
Maybe Cleveland is not a good city for BBQ, with the high reviews we were expecting better. Meat was a little burnt and dry. I wonder if Michael Symon is actually in this restaurant often.
Had dinner here while visiting my daughter in Cleveland. Our waiter was very accommodating to my daughter’s menu requests. The restaurant was crowded with post game Guardians fans on a Sunday, but the staff did a great job keeping up with things. All of our...food and drinks were delicious.More
Not that impressed ok at best, food was not even hot ribs were burnt. I had better bbq on the side of the road in Kentucky
My friends wanted to come because they were fans of the celebrity chef. I personally am never impressed by celebrity owners because they are usually not hands on and are absent which leads to subpar dining. Which is exactly what happened. We ordered ribs, brisket...and pork belly. Server takes our order then returns about 10 min later to tell us they were out of ribs. Out of ribs. On a Saturday night. At 5:30. The owners signature dish. Ok. Moving on..Brisket was dry and the BBQ sauce was meh. The red was better then the yellow. Pork belly was good, sides were ok. Drinks were good, service was slow. Overall.. meh.More
