I found this little gem while traveling in the area. I wondered in about 45 minutes before closing. I enjoyed 3 different rolls. Tuna Avocado, Yellow Fin Avocado, and Tuna roll. Monday night they have $3.95 specials and they regular full menu. The food was...great and the staff was friendly. I look forward to visiting again.More

Thai Lanna Sushi Bar was a little hard to find but once I found it at the end of a strip mall, I stopped in for a late light meal. Ordering the appetizer sampler, I was pleasantly surprised with satay, crab rangoon, spring rolls, and...another appetizer which I forget. 4 different sauces made this light meal very nice along with good Thai iced tea. After dinner I enjoyed fried bananas which are little baklava like squares drizzled in a sweet sauce. A perfect light meal. Server was very attentive and helpful. Would return for sureMore

This was our first time at this restaurant and we will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. We have eaten at several Thai restaurants before and thoroughly enjoyed this one. I had the Gang Hung Lee curry since I've never heard...of that and like to try new things. It was absolutely delicious. My wife had Ginger Stir Fry and it was also very good. The spices were quite tasty. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive, the restaurant clean and nicely decorated. We have Thai restaurants closer to home but we will come back here to try more dishes because we liked our experience here so well. If other menu items are as good as the ones we had here on this first visit we will change our 4 star rating to 5 star.More

My wife and daughter decided to give this place a try two weeks ago. they loved it so much that my wife suggested a return visit to include my brother, visiting from Columbus. The second visit, according to my wife, surpassed the first ... which...is surprising considering how much she loved the first visit. Don't be confused by the "sushi bar" and think that's all they offer. They have a ample menu of a variety of Asian cuisine. The restaurant is relatively small, with both booths and tables plus a small bar. The space is decorated with a variety of interesting Asian art and items. I asked about the large photo portrait of someone who looked like an Asian princess and her daughter. Turns out, it's a photo of the owner, Chonlada, with her daughter. We asked her what we should order and she recommended four things, all of which we ordered. Three of them were outstanding, one was just pretty good. Chonlada pointed out that everything is made fresh, and it tasted like it. I'm a fan of Thai food, but this was the most unusual/original and tastiest. We were there on a Tuesday night and things were a bit slow, so the owner talked with us for a bit. She's tremendously interesting to talk to and has lots of remarkable plans for the restaurant. I hope she can pull them all off! Our server has only been in the country from Thailand for a little over a year, so her English skills aren't very strong yet. But she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. None of us were hungry, but we were interested to see what interesting Thai desserts she might have available. The fried bananas with coconut ice cream was wonderful! It's amazing to see the variety of readings for this restaurant. I've never seen so many poor experiences combined with so many excellent experiences. I just know that ours was excellent and we can't wait to go back again.More

I visited this restaurant on advice of someone else, and was very disappointed!! I ordered ginger stir fry to go and had sushi (which was very good) while I waited. Before a beverage was even brought the lady presented me the check, I said do...you want me to pay before I even eat and she said yes before we get busy, of which I have never seen them busy!! The first time the check was wrong, she returned and it still was wrong, then when they brought the to go order they had to exchange the steamed rice for the fried rice I had ordered. When I got home the entree was mostly liquid with hardly any veggies or chicken, such a very small portion! I called her to tell her of this situation I said I thought it would be bigger, she just said nothing other than I will tell the kitchen, I said this dinner portion for $14.00 was even smaller than Basil's lunch portion. I don't like to write negative reviews but I don't want other people to get RIPPED OFF!! Go to Basil or even Panda Garden where the food is good and better anyway!!More
