We arrived and saw the place was more of a dungeonvrather than a former church. Very difficult getting into booth for elderly couple. The seats were pews and the table extended beyond the pew end. I finally squeezed in it was very dark there even...at 3pm. My wife had to use her phone flash light to read the menu. I ordered the asian thai chili wings. They arrived in a reasonable time, they were served hot as they should. I noticed the size of the wings were enormous. I ate a mid section it was delicious. Deep fried and then smothered in thai sauce. The next mid section I bit into then looked closely and saw it was body inside. I then tried the large section it was tasty but bloody. The waitress took them back and shortly returned with new ones. Same issues. Could not be eaten. The manager made it right taking them off our bill. Super nice experience with personnel there. I suggested they use a temperature probe to check them before sending to customer. I understand the wings are super large therefore more difficult to cook through. I will go back. It's worth it but I'd want a table instead of a booth. Thank you Farther Johns for handling the situation correctly.More

We made reservations for 5 and was seated promptly on time. Then our experiance turned. It took far to long to receive our drink and appitizer order. Oddly after those were served then we were able to place our entre order. The food was fair,...and not worth the price. Our dining time took far to long (over 2 hours). The building and decor was interesting to see, but will not be a repeat trip.More

First of all, the whole concept and idea of the restaurant is cool. Very interesting environment and the menu will make you laugh at some of the puns. However, my party was a little disappointed in the food. It didn't seem to have much flavor...and the one burger we got wasn't cooked and prepared the way we asked. Even the desserts seemed to lack some flavor. Maybe we just didn't get the right items... Service was a little lacking as well, but apparently, our server was tending to tables outside which was a lot more busy than the inside seating.More

I love the atmosphere but the food is way overpriced. A guest in my party ordered a $26 plate of scallops and asparagus. He received 3 small scallops and 3 pieces of asparagus. This is ridiculous for $26. You do receive alot of tater tots...though but how cheap are those.More

I think there is a conspiracy here in Bryan to not do happy hours. Don’t come anywhere in Bryan for happy hour! We can’t find anywhere!

A very intriguing restaurant in the small town of Bryan. Formerly a Methodist Church it has been reborn as a quality brewery and dining establishment offering fine food regional sourced in an atmosphere of almost medieval rooms decorated in pure ecclesiastical fun!! The menu alone...defines the courses. We had openings of calamari (ok), fried green tomatoes with a pimento cheese accompaniment, sprouts in balsamic and walnut. Dinners varied from a steak salad, superb pork chops to macaroni/chorizo and of course chicken fingers. The best mashed potatoes EVER!! Desert was their chocolate cake- yummy! Service is SLOW! This was an over 3 hour meal. Things I wanted (salmon)!were not available. Disappointing. Tell us right way when the menu is distributed!!!! Popular obviously considering the obscure location. Relaxed and very laid back informal despite the cost.More

The meals are outstanding in amount and quality. There's great variety on the menu and the cheesecake is crazy good and enough for four to share. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. The new craft beers are a big improvement.

Here for a quick visit in town. Hidden gem and wonderful. Excellent service and best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Overall everything was perfect plus fun to look around the old church.
