Kenzie was our waitress and was friendly and attentive. Little jug steak was prepared perfectly and served on a hot skillet, most juicy and tender!!! Get there before 6:00 and you will get $5.00 off. Atmosphere is casual , well lit, many new TV's and has a sense of fun energy!

Right downtown on Main so close to a lot of stuff and only a couple of blocks from campus.Best known for their Brown Derby steaks(marinaded sirloin) but have a new item , the balsamic glazed double bone pork chop that was awesome.Only have a limited number of tables but bar is only feet away so no long waits for a... Well, we wanted to go here for a nice dinner but we were very quickly turned away by a female server as soon as we entered the front door; who said they could not serve us tonight and did not even give a wait time or anything. It was our first time visiting Bowling Green so not a good impression... More

I was told this was a great place for food and I can attest that they were right. Try the Scottish eggs, it is a treat. Burgers are worthwhile. Cut fires are as always a special treat. I would enjoy this place with friends. I will be back.

Some things never change...thank goodness. Having visited this downtown Bowling Green establishment dozens of times over the past decade, one thing has remained the same, the cozy atmosphere and the delicious "Little Brown Jug". A petite, center cut sirloin of goodness smothered in onions and a most delicious au jus. An assortment of good beers (and IPA's) compliment the hardy... More

This is place I come to when I am looking for a great steak or salmon. They have a good drink selection and the atmosphere is a refreshing change in a college town.

I love Trotters and I love the Brown Jug. It truly has the potential to be the best steak in town if they stop over-cooking it!! I ask for it rare knowing it will probably be over cooked and hoping it will come out Med-Rare--- nope... the last few times it was probably closer to Med Well. I was very... More

This a local hometown "hole in the wall" that you wouldn't give a second look to but experiencing the food inside will make you want to tell your friends. Try the Scotch Eggs appetizer then order a Brown Jug Sirloin for dinner. A VERY thick sirloin in 2 different sizes served on a sizzling plate. Order an extra Parmesan roll... More

Our children took us out to dinner for helping them with their home remodel. They wanted us to experience Trotters in BG. The steaks were cooked perfectly! The service was quick and friendly. The sauce for the steak tasted like A-1 sauce warmed and was plentiful in the cast iron flat skillet it was served in. Fries and mash potatoes... More

We ate here upon the recommendation of friends in Bowling Green. It was a Thursday evening but the annual bike tour was in town, so it got busy as the evening progressed. There were not very many people in there when we arrived. We were seated immediately and our drinks were brought to us. That was the end of the... More
