If you are in Amalfi (town) and can only have one dinner La Taverna dei Briganti is the place to go. Incredible service, stunning views and fantastic food and wine (local by the carafe). The bean soup is so good it is hard to describe. A little out of the way just past the Grand Excelsior Hotel but well worth... More

After a long day at the beach my boyfriend and I stopped in for a nice dinner. The ambiance was cozy, romantic and rustic - we loved it. It was a quiet place and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We each loved our meals, and we thought it was definitely well priced. If we are ever in Amalfi again we... More

Ambience wasn't quite as charming, nor the food or service as good, as I had envisioned from all these reviews. Yes there was a fire in the fireplace, but it was accompanied by commercial radio playing, at one point, YMCA. It killed the vibe IMO. Service was not particularly warm or prompt. We waited uncomfortably long with few other diners... More

Restaurant with atmosphere and the food taste good but you come here for meat cooked on charcoal in an open fireplace. Good value for money but wine list is modest and the waiter should not answer questions by saying "I do not drink myself " !! In general a really nice place but I don't like places where you smell... Very Very local. The food and vine were nice. Nothing fancy, but nice. The fireplace brings atmosphere but also a smell of smoke to your hair and clothes.

Though you can't find the restaurant without navigation, it worths to visit and have a wonderful dinner. I had T-bone steak, my friends had meatballs and antrecote, meats were delicious but without side dish such as green salad or potato.

It was quite a drive into the mountains however it was worth it for the views, the cozy fireplace and nice food. Service was amazing and we left extremely satisfied

Really delicious food on Amalfi coast. We came here in December, really good meat and they are specialized in meat. And so nice staff, we chatted and had a fun together.
