Just finished a gruelling day at work and needed some comfort food to calm the savage beast. It did not disappoint, superb chicken with chorizo and butter beans stew - absolutely awesome. Relaxing with a pint of Tetley's in front of an log fire. Couldn't ask for more - spectacular.

After walking in the rain and snow for a while we thought we would pop in here for something small too eat and warm up. We just had starters off the menu but they where very well presented and good value. The pub is in a nice location with plenty of seating inside and out. We also noticed a dog... More

This was our fourth visit to The Clothiers Arms in the space of a year, and it didn't disappoint. The standard tapas menu has plenty of variety (including several vegetarian options) but the specials board is well worth checking out too. Last night's Portuguese pork stew, for example, was incredible, and complemented some of the more familiar dishes superbly. Service... More

Had our first but definitely not the last meal here this evening. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, efficient and keen to ensure we enjoyed our visit. The place itself has a nice feel to it with fireplace, different rooms, dog friendly and spotless facilities. The range of tapas choices was superb and absolutely everything we had was... More

We have become regulars now on a Friday evening - and for a good reason. The tapas are excellent. Huge portions and we're slowly working our way through the menu. Good prices for the quantity and quality of food and staff are very friendly and service excellent.

Another great meal at the clothiers. The tapas just gets better and better. Despite the fact that it's was mega busy last night the food was delicious and well presented. Thanks again

What a great meal again. It was about three years ago when we tried the Clothiers on Tapas night and after tonight I am asking myself why we took so long to return. My wife and I were there with three friends and we all agreed the food was absolutely excellent. £100 for five people including bar drinks and coffee.... More

Better when this place was a pub and not a restaurant it's like been sat in your front room at home all squashed in to one room.the drink are good but apart from that it's a place I would not drink in. Staff are friendly.

Struggling to understand the point of this review or what Loopy is trying to say. The pub is still a pub but with an eating area as almost all pubs have to have now or they would not survive. As pointed out by this reviewer, the staff are friendly and the beer is good, hence we were busy when visited.... More

My friend took me here as she had been recommending it for ages. We had tapas , all dishes were really nice, especially the brie special and the calamari. We shared 6 dishes between us , which was more than enough. The portions are hearty. The staff were really friendly and welcoming , and the atmosphere was really relaxed and... More

For any other Motorhome owners out there, put this on your "go to" list. Very tasty food, OH enjoyed the hand pulled beer, friendly service and the bonus of being able to park up the van and stay over after having a drink without charge. What else could you ask for? The weather was nice when we arrived so we... More
