Visited here on a Monday evening for dinner as recommended by our B&B hostess. The food was just delightful. Well presented and tasty, and a nice local beer was spot on. Jimmi our host was so polite and attentive. Only 4 other couples there for the night and he placed us all with space away from each other. He also... More

This is the second time this year that we have stayed at Happy Valley resort. We were greeted warmly and shown to our cabin. Our meals at the restaurant were excellent. We had the sharing meal with seafood and it was great. The service was excellent and Jimmi remembered us from our visit in March. The cabins are so quiet... More

Arrived early but was made welcome. If your interested in beer that takes you away from the run of the mill then put this on your list. I would love to go back when I have more time because along with the brewery there is a first class restaurant pluss a retreat..the dinning area oozes character and lends itself to... More

Just stayed the one night but would have happily had a few more days there. Just outside Stanthorpe a great place to see the Super Moon. Loved having the fire in the cabin with heaps of firewood available. Staff in both reception and restaurant very pleasant. Reasonably priced good quality meals in the restaurant.

It was a great evening, the beers were icecold, the meals brought out at steady pace and the food was great. 158 people had a pretty great time, and left wanting to come back. My complements to the chef and all the staff who were proud about their jobs, and showed good Granite Belt hospitality

We had lunch here as part of a wine tour, very disappointing!! Lunch was a very large serve, so for those who like to gorge themselves you would love it. Food style was very bland, I likened it too club food, not the stylish restaurant that was written in the tour description. The brewery tour was a five minute chat... More

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations with regard to food. I will have to check how the tour company describes our food style. We are a brewery and provide food that complements beer and normally we get great reviews. But I understand that everyone has different tastes. With regard to the brewery tour, Geoff... More

Visited at night only but the bar area was nice with lovely intimate lounge chair seating. The dinner was nice however the restaurant area was very noisy with such a large crowd which made conversation a little difficult. Would be happy to go back in the daytime for a better look.

We stopped in for steak sandwiches on our way home along the New England Highway. Dining room is very dark (dark wood and subdued lighting) which would be great in the winter months but not so good in the warmer weather. Steak was tender and the beer battered chips were great.

Quietly quaint, comfortable and clean rooms, with everything you need to have a very cosy cabin evening. The service is down-to-earth, honest country charm and this matches the BIG meals on offer; exactly how you want a steak! Don't even get me started on the creme brulee! I was back in Italy for a moment! Needless to say you will... More

Had lunch there on the balcony overlooking parkland and creek with small dam which was frequented by a couple of different Duck families. A very peaceful setting. The inside of the restaurant in sort of Rustic with fire places for the cold Winter months and aircon for the warmer Queensland days. We ordered the Carnivor plate for 2 which was... More
