Ravenshoe has the highest pub at 900m. Beautifull old hotel, from inside and outside. Family company, the grand daughter bought it back 3 years ago. At every table she has a nice short talk which makes you feel @home. It was a busy evening with a funny party in the other room, not loud. We got a bruschetta because we... More

Ordered meal and waited a further 34 minutes for a tasteless ,tough cold steak and a smelly fish and salad. Tried to bring it to the Owner? or waitresses attention--not sure which... More

We went here with a group of friends for Xmas in July and had a ball, the staff are friendly and helpful, lovely old building, rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, not a big fan of sharing bathrooms etc but thats what you get with old pubs, would recommend a room away from the bathrooms as we were very... We are vegans and our guide Jonathan Munro brought us there. It was not a problem for us to find suitable food and the self-service buffet was excellent. Everybody including my children enjoyed the meal!

Great value and great home made food. Salads, roasts, curries and desert all for $19 in a lovely historical dinning room. I will go back.

Our naturalist guide, Jonathan Munro, brought us here for both lunch & dinner. We probably gained several pounds that day, the portions were so big & the food was delicious. You definitely won't leave hungry!

You stay in a really old style hotel. No remake, the equipment, furniture, technique etc. is originally old and makes a charming view on low budget standard. Don't expect a newly renovated building. But enjoy a drink in the pub under locals. Dinner buffet at low price but with a delicious lamb curry.

We went to the 'Top Pub' for dinner - the service was excellent and good-humoured, and the food was of a good standard. Recommended.
