There's been some major staff changeovers.. the coffee is usually good. Not a lot of food choice, but fresh and generous servings. If you like icecream, then this is the place for you. There is nothing better anywhere..

I was told from a local they had the best gelato in QLD and boy they did not disappoint! I had Apple Pie and I could have gone back for more absolutely delicious! They also had an amazing selection of cheese. We didn't eat there but from what I could see it looked delicious as well. If you go to... More

The food and ice cream at Colin James is impossible to tire of. It's become a Maleny institution. We can't visit there without stopping for lunch, coffee or an ice cream. The delicatessen also carries some outstanding products. Our last purchase was some all natural, no oil, no sugar chilli relish. We need more of this approach to food.

Excellent food served here. We enjoyed the ploughman's lunch and the very good smoked salmon and blue cheese. Popular place, but we managed to get a table and enjoy our time here. We had a sweet ending with superb gelato.

The large bowl of roast pumpkin soup with fresh sourdough bread slices on the side was great. The salad sandwich was bursting with fresh ingredients and the bread used was fresh, moist multi grain. The coffee was also great. The walls are covered with awards for the venue. Not surprising. We'll be back.

Great food here, roasted pumpkin soup and goats cheese and caramelised onion tart! So yummy and good sized portions. Great coffee as well, and staff very pleasant. Obviously very popular eatery! Definitely would visit here again

We had coffee and the orange and almond cake. It was the moistest O&A cake I have ever eaten and had copious amounts of real orange in it. The coffee was very good too. The previous time here was to have an ice cream which was also one of the best I have eaten. I will be going back again... More

Went in this time solely to buy some of their wonderfully ripe (and, dare I say it, SMELLY) cheeses. Limberger and Esrom were two of the specialist cheeses I bought. This place has an absolutely wonderful fromagerie with a selection of cheeses to die for!!!

This place is great. Servings in the cone are very generous. Banoffe ice cream was awesome and I've just eaten the best salted caramel ice cream ever!!
