Our Tour Operator recommended Frogs Cafe at Kuranda. My wife and I ate lunch at Frogs. The meals were super fresh and delicious. The proprietors run the place with military precision yet retain a carefree air in the cafe. This is certainly well worth a visit when you travel to Kuranda.

We had lunch during a day stopover in Kuranda.. Lunch was plentiful and well priced. A significant attraction were the Eastern water dragons walking around the deck eating the scraps off the floor. They looked like little prehistoric monsters. It was a great place to stop and relax

Stopped in for mid-day meal. The three of us all had nice choices, fresh, well prepared, and good sized portions. Good variety of beverages. The wait staff was excellent with good suggestions and allowed us plenty off time to eat and converse.

The food was good, but my 21/2 year old daughter was tired and hungry from all the travel and kept her feet on the chair and was sitting, one of the staff came and asked me to keep her feet down which made her cry and when she was crying the staff just wanted us gone from that place. I... More

This was not my restaurant. The reviewer is mistaken with the name of the venue, a quick read through some of the less favourable reviews of restaurants in Kuranda particularly those with a reputation of rudeness may offer a clue as to the real venue. I as a long term restaurateur in Kuranda am appalled that anybody would be treated... More

Frogs is situated in the Kuranda Heritage Markets. On offer were things like crocodile, kangaroo and emu. We chose grilled local wild-caught barramundi with salad. It was delicious and filling, as well as healthy. The restaurant has a good wine list and we enjoyed a glass of a good white wine, whose name eludes me at the moment. The staff... More

The shuttle bus driver recommended this place for lunch and I'm so glad we followed his advice! Definitely the best coffee I had during my one week stay in Cairns/Palm Cove. And the food was great- kids fish and chips was a hit, calamari salad perfectly cooked and very fresh, crocodile curry absolutely delicious! As for the service- these guys... More

I loved my visit to Frogs, an interesting venue in the heritage markets of Kuranda. We very much enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, and the water dragons, and bush turkeys roaming around on the deck and in the surrounding gardens. A big 'thank you' to the courteous and obliging staff and chef who discussed options with me, and provided a delicious... More

Such a devine arrange of food in the menu, the staff are very friendly and the food is amazing! Would recommend the pumpkin omelette. Had a little fright when a lizard unexpectedly ran over my foot but it's amazing how friendly they are and stay so still for a photo

Its a restaurant thats supposed to have won many awards... thats great but i really dont get it. Tuesday lunch service at 1145am before the busy part of the day and they had run out of certain drinks and some items on the menu. I would have hated to be a patron turning up at 1230pm probably have nothing left... More
