We took the kids on this only to be told they were too small to hold the koala so we had to wait around while everyone else had photos taken and after that our kids got a "pat" of the one koala. The food was good and the young people serving the food and the young lady who helped people... More

At $80 for a family ticket plus an additional $18 per person to hold a koala and have a photo taken we opted against visiting. Their website suggests that half of the two hour tour is taken up with a walk.

We had a short getaway at Magnetic Island and we decided to book the Champagne Bush Tucker Breakfast with the Koalas and it didn't disappoint. We all enjoyed ourselves and it was a great experience for the children. They had a variety of animals we could interact with from Koalas, lizards, birds and snakes. The kids were so preoccupied by... More

Didn't really notice the breakfast as we were too busy interacting with the parrots, lizards and Pebbles the koala. Lovely friendly staff and a great start to the day!

Definitely worth a visit for the sanctuary tour and holding the koala but take a tip and skip the breakfast. For $32 per head you expect a pretty decent breakfast buffet, but this was a disappointment. Sausages, bacon, French bread, pancakes, tea bags and coffee bags, bottle juices - ho hum, standard fare. Buy breakfast elsewhere and just come for... More

This was a great experience but probably wouldn't do it again. The food was yum and the host/guide was funny and helpful (albeit a little bossy!). For the money we expected a bit more of a tour of the wildlife not just a few lizards and the koala, but it was enjoyable and our 3 year old got to hold... More

Wow! A wonderful experience. The breakfast was a lovely buffet with a good choice and some typical Australian gourmet tucker. Cook your own toast on the campfire, and try a jaffle. But then the fun begins with an array of reptiles - snakes, lizards, squirrel gliders, birds and more, joining you in the courtyard. The handler is a great bloke,... More

Took the family for the breakfast and koala photos. Breakfast was actually very good, really enjoyed the pancakes and honeycomb and yoghurt. Children liked the chance to hold the python and lizards and the koala is obviously a hit. They had a young koala that was really very sweet and meant my 7 year old could hold her

Good for children. Bit odd to have grilled lamb chops for breakfast plus pancakes and treacle. Nevertheless we enjoyed it.

This was our second visit to the champagne breakfast on Magnetic Island and our last. The host who meets the group at the bar would benefit from a refresher course in customer skills. It doesn't help to not introduce yourself to a group of people by shouting which way to go and then walking off in the direction you expect... More
