As locals we eat here alot, great food, good service. Always really busy whether its in the holiday season or not. Between take aways and in house they are flat out. Have eaten a variety of meals and always been satisfied with the food. Service has always been friendly. I do however recommend you book for a Saturday or Friday... More

The food was excellent will definitely have food from there again and would eat in as well. Pepper beef was delicious as was the sweet and sour chicken. Yum

My fiancee and I went for dinner here this weekend during out stay at a hotel in Portsea. The food was ready quickly and was absolutely delicious. Despite not having a booking the lovely girl behind the counter (Monique?) found us the last available table. Everyone who served us was brilliant and helpful. Would visit again.

We ordered takeaway on a very busy night yet the food was ready in only 25minutes. Best dish ordered was the beef and cashew. Requested a prawn ginger and shallot dish which was not on the menu and they were more than happy to make it. Don't order the family pack as it's cheaper to order the dishes separately.

Louey's is your typical suburban old school Chinese. Usual suspects for starters and mains. Ordered Malayasian curry - no complexity of spicing and nearly more potatoes than chicken. Prices above average. Manage your expectations and it's OK for a take away on a Friday night.

The food here is awesome. It's our must have dinner when on the peninsula. The prices are great ($78 for 2 inc beers), and the service is really good. Ice cold beers are delivered within a minute of being ordered. Location is spot on right in the heart of it all across road from beach. Love it.

Dined here in Jan 2016 during a family break in Rye. Food was absolutely beautiful. We ordered take out between 9 people. We placed an order for 8 different dishes, 2 fried rices, 2 Singapore noodles, 4 serves spring rolls and 1 serve of dim sims and only cost $105.00. Wonderful service, beautiful food, would highly recommend and would go... More

We get take-away from Paul Louey's whenever we are down in Rye and we are never disappointed. Reasonably priced and lots on the menu to choose from. Make sure that you phone ahead as they are so busy you have to wait about 30-40 minutes for your order but worth the wait as everything is cooked fresh.

If you can't tell by the sprawling lines and queues to sit down, Paul Louey is pretty damn popular. Offering take away or dine in, I really recommend visiting. Mongolian beef all the way
