I just went in for coffee and the girl ignored me. When she eventually served me, she failed to even look in my direction, let alone look at me. I asked about some pastries (what they were) and she called out to someone else. He answered mid-stride as he was walking behind me. I asked the girl 'what did he... More

I had high hopes for this bustling Italian cafe restaurant when I recently went for lunch. I was so looking forward to a lovely authentic pizza on this cold winters day. This venue lacked the inviting atmosphere you would expect from a place like this. The open fire was definitely a nice feature, but the staff did not come across... More

Came here for some drinks, and decided to eat dinner. It took 45 minutes to receive one meal (fish and chips) - but the other meal (soup) took almost another 15 minutes. When the first meal was served, we were told the other meal would be delivered in s minute. Some time later when we asked, we were told that... More

Loved our breakfast at Cafe Koukla. The Egg and Bacon Panini really hit the spot and the coffee was nice and hot. Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere.

Me and my partner came and got 2 takeaway pizzas.. $46 for 2 normal sized pizzas was a bit of a stretch.. figured they must be good for that price..WRONG..!! We didn't even eat of the pizzas.. so $46 for 1 mediocre pizza.. will not be back.. cold and under cooked..

Ordered two take away wood fired pizzas. Service, was friendly enough to BUT cold and tasteless was the best way to describe them. Very little in the way of fillings and even less on the quality side, disappointing.

I've tried to like Koukla under the new owners but I can't. I love that they use all press as the coffee is great but each time my coffee is burnt to all hell, over extracted like the machine needs a clean and terribly overpriced. The owner's attitudes are appalling, so rude and uncharitable that it does my head in.... More

We went as a family with our two children for lunch. It was 5 degrees outside so being sat next to the warm fire was a bonus. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered two Woodfire pizzas to share between me & the kids, while hubby had the calamari - which had a delicious chilli jam. They had toilet facilities... More

Get a spot by the fireplace while you wait for breakfast to arrive. Good menu with nothing overly pretentious and the food arrived was very nice. Coffee also really good, as further demonstrated by the line for takeaways.

Horrible raining day stopped on the way through for a coffee to warm us up The "large" was more like a regular size that was $5 and our cups were only half full. The coffee was so burnt we couldn't drink them
