We visited this restaurant in July as part of a large group. As it was on a Sunday a lot of people had a roast but they did also offer the standard menu as well. I enjoyed the actual beef but not the vegetables. Overall it was a nice meal but nothing special.

Ate here on Saturday evening. No reservation made, but we were easily accommodated in large dining area. Delightful environment with water mill, outdoor seating in garden and covered smoking area. Several smaller dining rooms inside for more private dining. Served at table by pleasant, efficient staff. Plenty of specials available. Excellent food, prepared indivudually, so you do have to wait... More

I was here last night with friends and we were very pleased with our meal. I had the Sussex minted lamb burger with chips and a garnish. I decided to leave out the bun and it was a generous portion even without that. The burger was lovely and so were the chips. Friends had fish and chips, bream and a... More

Great pub food, typically English roast etc. Great location with huge garden and choice of real ales.

We recently ate here for Sunday lunch and had the roast beef which was cooked to perfection. We had loved this place before the change of ownership, and were wondering if it would measure up, and it did! The only thing was that a couple of the staff who served us could of taken a customer service lesson from the... More

Not knowing the area, we searched on Tom Tom for a restaurant close by and chose this one. We were not disappointed. It is a lovely old mill with a relaxing outdoor space which is covered over (if that makes sense!) We had a lovely 3 meat Sunday lunch which was really tasty. We could have sat there all afternoon.... More

We booked a table for 10. We were placed in a nice side room, where we felt comfortable to chat and laugh for 3 hours, under no pressure to leave. Food and service were excellent, and believe me since our grouphas been meeting monthly for five years, we have had a few bad ones in our time-including some who charge... More

Visited with my wife on the spur of the moment for Sunday lunch. Not been for a while owing to some poor reports a while back. Totally delighted with the food and friendly service and will put it back on my regular places to eat. Glad to see you back at your best Old Mill !

Had only really heard average things since Harveys took over this pub/restaurant but as we had a kid free evening to ourselves, thought we'd give it a go. Excellent service, very nice food (can recommend the lamb burger and the mussels)...highly recommended for a good and reasonably priced and local meal. My only minor issue is that for the amount...
