As a family we have been eating in this restaurant over many years and have always had great food and wonderful service. It is our favourite local Indian restaurant and we recommend it highly. The meals are never disappointing, are cooked to perfection and always at the right temperature. Long may it last!

Nizam used to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the local area. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Twice in 2 months I've ordered a takeaway. On both occasions, the chicken was dry and the meal not piping hot. Very disappointed.

This restaurant really does vary according to which day you visit. We recently ate here on a Saturday night and the service was very poor, almost bordering on rudeness. When we left no one said goodbye or escorted us to the door as is usually the case. The food was very tasty though and the quality is usually very good.... More

We went to the Nizam on Friday 27th May with friends and had a really lovely meal. The staff were great and the food was excellent. Hadn't been in for a few months but certainly won't be leaving as long next time

We have been regulars at this restaurant for about 5 years and once we had terrible service but gave it a second chance... We were seated and pappadoms ordered but then the service became terrible. We had to ask to place our main course order a good 15 mins after we had finished our meal and the waiter was very... More

My husband and I have been regular visitors to Nizam over the past five years. The food is fresh, not oily and generally a great atmosphere in a Tudor style building. Lovely staff too.

We recently had a lovely meal here, and received really friendly service. The food was really tasty and beautifully served. The building itself is old historic and beamed, and Indian music was playing in the background, so the place had a great atmosphere. Hot towels were given at the end of the meal. We have since had three takeaways from... More
