We had breakfast here after staying at the Premier Inn next door so cannot comment on any other meals. The fried breakfast consisted of anaemic mushrooms, possibly tinned and microwaved, very grilled tomatoes and tasteless sausages and cold Costa Coffee. The toast was fine. We would definitely not return here for the fried breakfast....

Nice decor, nice and clean. Lovely little garden to the rear of the building. Evening food was ok, but just like most chain pub meals. I did have the cooked breakfast a few morning as it's connected with the premier Inn, the breakfasts are delicious

We enjoyed this restaurant while we were staying at the Premier Inn, and family that we were visiting spoke well of the Dog and Duck as well.

Visited at 7.30pm on a Tuesday evening having made a reservation. The restaurant was very busy on arrival and this caused a big delay with getting the drinks and ordering the food. However, the food was good when it arrived. A bit on the small side - OK for the girls but not really enough for a male appetite. The... More

We booked our table online for an anniversary meal. They were expecting us and showed us straight to our table. We ordered pate, rib eye steak and sticky bourbon ribs. The pate was a little disappointing, not nearly as nice as the pate that was on the old menu but as always the ribs and the steak were absolutely excellent.... More
