The staff here at brilliant. They are professional, friendly and deliver excellent customer service. The food is good, not exceptional but not bad. There is a good variety of wine perhaps more of a variety of food choices would be good.

I only had a drink here, but want to give the owners credit for their sensitive historic adaption of the old pub and a fine Nelson Exhibit, paying homage to the immortal memory and another Norfolk native son, William Hoste, who was one of Nelson's...More

sadly the proprietor has an exceptionally huge ego.......but perhaps now that he has started to sell assets the loss of customers is hurting his wallet, and the competition of 3 not 2 new restaurants has barely started.

Book a romantic dinner in the restaurant at The Hoste Hotel, where the Chefs create dishes that owe much to locally sourced produce, not least a great selection of local seafood from the nearby coast. We have a high quality, informal, relaxed atmosphere with very friendly and efficient staff. The imaginative menu is complimented by a 200-bin wine list that includes some keenly priced classics.
