Nice comfortable pub with a roaring log fire in the main bar. Food is plentiful and tasty and value for money. Would certainly recommend the Innkeepers Pie. Reasonable choice of beers too. Very popular pub especially at weekends when it is full of visitors and walkers. Good atmosphere.

We have been in this pub many times over the last few years for a couple of drinks. We have always enjoyed it as there has been a decent selection of real ales and the staff have been friendly enough. On that basis I think the pub is well worth 4 stars. Our mistake was having a meal in there... More

This pub is friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious and fairly priced. We had young children with us and they were welcomed and the staff were helpful when sharing a main meal between the 2 of them. Would definitely return to this pub.

My partner and I shared a ploughman's and a plate of chips ... delicious ! Good lumps of tasty fresh cheese, lovely home cooked thick sliced ham and pickled onions that were a taste sensation, fresh bread generous salad and fresh Chucky chips. Very large portions, good quality home cooked food and good service.
