Eaten here for years. Always had a roast dinner always beautiful. Gone right downhill. I had to send my meal back, the mashed potato had massive lumps in. The carrot mash had more whole carrot than mashed, frozen roast potatoes and veg, and to top it all off they had the cheek to charge me for my meal as they... More

First visit since new owners. Used to be a good venue for the variety and quality of food on offer. Now same old pub grub as everywhere else. The first thing that struck me was the large screen tv situated next to the bar as you enter. Not a particularly good sign for patrons wanting a quiet decent meal. The... More

really gone down hill..quite tasteless apart from the homemade steak pie which was quite nice. The bread and butter pudding is no more than toasted bread served with squirty cream...I did complain and wasnt charged for the sweet ..we will not be returning..

This has recently taken over, therefore we have only visited once with the new staff. We both had pie & chips, it was served quickly & it tasted nice. It was good valve, good service & local. There is also plenty of off street parking.

Visited for Sunday lunch with family, different staff so wondering if it has changed hands recently? Very limited menu, roast or pie of the day plus a few other options such as scampi or lasagne. Ample portions and family members enjoyed the roast beef, I opted for the lasagne which was tasty but served with greasy undercooked chips. Service slow... More

Used to be a cracking place for grub but seems to have been steadily declining over recent months which is a real shame. No care seems to be taken anymore and the food is average now at best. Dis-interested staff and food that has been microwaved is not good.......hopefully it will return to it's former glory soon as many people... More

This is a place we have visited very occasionally, the last time was Christmas eve with the whole family and whilst the place was quite busy the food was mediocre at best and very overpriced. The staff on duty were quite indifferent to the fact that they got food orders wrong and that some of our party were forced to... More
