I would be grateful if anyone knows why Wood Farm is closed. We have been in the past a couple of times but now all closed down. No notice displayed to say why. We have enjoyed going there previously and now the warmer days and lighter nights are on the way would love to visited again. Does anyone have an... More

We come out here regulalry on a Saturday or Sunday and this place sums up what a family business is all about. The food is family style food and right up my street. And being part of a micro brewery you get a first class selection of ales. It is dog friendly too and our two pups love it because... More

Returned recently having not been for a while and unfortunately really disappointed to find so much had changed. We had been told that the brewery side had shut down but was still expecting a couple of options of beer. Firstly only one beer available (sold out of rest), no cider (all sold out). Had to wait for staff to push... More

We pop into this little gastro restaurant/ pub on a regulaur basis, never book, and always made to feel welcome. Called in for sunday lunch today with freinds and family, as always the food and service where excilllant.... The only let down was a party next to us...A very loud irish lady was nothing more than an embarrisment to other... More

We came here for Sunday lunch last weekend (the brewery side has closed now FYI). They only do a roast on a Sunday (and a vege option). The food was lovely and staff very chatty and nice too. They also did mash ;-) It was great, the only negative was is that it doesn't quite know if it is a... More

We booked a table for two for Sunday Lunch after finding their website. I was particularly drawn to it as it said on the website it had its own brewery as well as serving guest local ales (which my husband enjoys). Sadly though this is no longer true, and the brewery part of the business has no tenant, so none... More

We found the barn online and decided to make an impromptu visit. Booking a table seemed to be a challenge but for no obvious reason, the young lady just didn't seem welcoming. Off we set to find a disappointing welcome. We asked for a Diet Coke and a lime and soda....we got a Diet Coke that was flat and a... More

Called in today on the off chance for lunch. Food excellent and very friendly staff. What a pity the brewery pulled out and have gone elsewhere. However will definately be returning for lunch

Yes ! as a previous reviewer has written, no more beer brewed on sight but those on offer when we visited this month ( twice) were all local to this area and pleasure to drink. today I chose Fireside, a wonderful 5% full bodied amber beer. The venue was heaving with people eating, although we on this occasion chose not... More

Returned today after a long period of time. First thing the usual display of beers was no more, just guest beers. It used to be a brewery, but unfortunately they have stopped brewing there. The atmosphere had changed. The menu was very basic and the choice was disappointing. The food was hot but very tasteless. I had chosen to have... More
