The Old Smithy

Ratings and reviews

Location and contact

A warm welcome awaits you at The Old Smithy. If you asked most people to draw their idyllic 'roses round the door' village pub, they would probably draw The Old Smithy at Church Lawford. It really is a very cosy pub and has a great atmosphere. There’s a garden and a patio area for those balmy summer nights and a huge log fire for those cold winter days.

Thank you Hypnowhizz for your great review. We have never done starters. I think starters are more of a restaurant thing. We got lots of choices and all sensibly priced. We have a super kitchen team in place. Our lunchtime meals are now £4.50 with...More

I have been here before always a pleasant visit & you can get a burger for £6. But it is simple pub grub, nothing special, very ordinary.

Since moving to Rugby, I've been to the Smithy more than a few times, reccomendations and family favourite. Always good food. Great atmosphere. Lovely staff. Lovely waitress tonight. Good steak. Absolute bargain. If this was on my back door I'd live there.
