Used to visit on the way to the lakes, but standards went down a bit, so have not visited for a couple of years. Glad to see normal service has resumed, had a most enjoyable Sunday Lunch including the coffee. Will definitely call in again in the near future.

We had a lovely Sunday meal out. Quiet, welcoming and very relaxing at 4pm Sunday. We sat in the extension/restaurant end but close to the bar that had a good choice of beer, draughts, cider, bottles etc. Good selection of food on menu and specials board. Great kids menu plus 3 meat choices for roast available on Sunday. Roast pork... More

We decided to go here for lunch taking my parents on a wet Saturday afternoon. Really nice homemade food well worth a visit if you are after a traditional pub lunch. Homemade steak and ale pie was really good as was the fish and chips will definitely be making a return visit.

We stopped here on the off chance we could still get a meal (8.15) pm. We received a warm welcome; so did our dog. The staff are friendly and engaging. The meal was fabulous.. fresh and filling... very clean too.

My husband's Dad was celebrating his 86th Birthday. We booked a table for 20 for Sunday lunch at the Kings Arms. We arrived to a wonderful welcome from Verity. It was a fantastic lunch. We had Turkey and Beef, both were cooked to perfection. They catered for the youngest member of 5 years old to the oldest of 86 years.... More
