The food was spot on. The staff were polite, had a bit of banter and were quick at serving food. The price seemed a lot but given the location and quality of service I'd visit again and happily pay their prices.

My friend and I visited the cafe en route to Glasgow last week. I had passed before, but this was the first time I had been inside and I was delighted with what I found. I just had a coffee but my friend had a substantial burger with salad and chips. All very nicely prepared and served. The cafe is... More

They say quirky - and it is in a good way. Stopped her for breakfast when traveling to Scotland - decent well cooked food and good coffee. Very clean and well kept, personally felt a tad pricey for what you get, which whilst is good and tasty, portions were not over generous for the price (one sausage one piece of... More

Great friendly staff, we had a window seat looking at the Llamas and had a delightful breakfast and amazing tea. We had a look around the place and my wife and I both agreed we would love to... I have visited here before and previously gave it better reviews but after this visit on the way to Keswick, next time I will continue my journey without stopping here. Yes the place is still quirky and is good to stop with kids as they will enjoy it, but this stop found everything in the seating area near the food... More

A charming quirky establishment, serving a good choice of food for a travellers needs at a reasonable price. A super little shop ,happy well kept animals for distraction and lovely smiley staff. So good we stopped on our return too!

This rather quirky cafe makes a welcome break on the A66, its the last real stop for quite some way. We only had tea and cakes but all good quality and service quick enough. Out the back there are a range of animals including the Llamas as a sort of petting zoo. The amusingly named Deli Llama is available for... More
