We had a great evening here this week. The food was excellent- particularly liked the gravadlax and the homemade chicken, leek and ham pie. My friend had the beef skewers and the curry- both delicious. The service was very attentive and they couldn't have been more helpful. The pub and restaurant are full of character, which creates a great atmosphere. We... More

Lovely meal, lovely staff would definitely recommend a visit. Brie wedges were some of the nicest I've had. Would go back again

After frequently visiting the Cat for drinks we decided that we would try the restaurant... and we were not disappointed!! The restaurant staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The food was excellent! Everything came out perfectly cooked and was full of flavour. The building itself is beautiful and well renovated inside adding a slightly modern twist but... More

I originally lived in Nantwich, and have seen the change in "The Cat" over the past 30years. I left about 15 years ago, and have been dying to stay there on a visit. well I had my chance a few weeks ago on a visit to see family. The building was restored some years ago, and it is immaculate. The... More

Visited Friday 13th. Overall our food was great and we probably would visit again but definitely areas around service for the management team to brush up on. We ordered olives to start, which were freezing cold from the fridge, could do with leaving out to get room temp before serving. Mains meals, lamb and duck, both great and cheesecake was... More

I stay at this hotel at least once a month and thoroughly enjoy every occasion. The pub is quaint but the rooms are modern and well furnished. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the breakfast is amazing.

I’ve stayed here a few times now, and each and every time is spot on. The room is spacious and relatively sound proofed. The facilities are perfect for a young couple, and the location is ideal for a bite to eat in the adjoining restaurant or several other establishments close by. Quick and easy check in, ample off road parking,... More

Our first visit to the Cheshire Cat after recently moving into the area. Loved everything, the staff, the food, the ambience. Will definitely be returning.

Hello, I can also confirm that our Caesar dressing is prepared with Anchovies as you discovered on Google but I do also have to reiterate that an Anchovy is a small filleted fish that is left to mature in salt and oil which adds to its strong 'fishy' flavour - hence why your Chicken Caesar Wrap did indeed taste like...
