On our way to deliver to the north west car show with a caravan, we tripped over this pub which had the perfect answer for us. A tranquil caravan park for only £10 for the night, a gammon steak meal that had half a pig on the plate and two double yolk eggs all for £12.00! We challenged breakfast the... More

An excellent pub with great freshly cooked local produce. A fine selection of excellent local ales, I tried the Three Tuns Solstice, and excellent wines. My wife had the ribeye steak. Cooked perfectly. I had the sumptuous mixed grill. The service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Country feel pub, home cooked food, great service ... What more could you want. Party of 12 visited on Saturday evening, I recommend the cheese & mushroom tart, but other members of the party were raving about the steak & kidney pie. Portions are massive!! Good choice of deserts - White chocolate & baileys cheesecake must have. Will definitely recommend!

Four of us had arrived at Wrenbury travelling on a narrowboat. \we had booked a table in advance as it was Saturday night. Luckily we did so as the place was very crowded. The food and the service was fine. The only negative point was that there were too many tables and chairs in the bar and every time anybody... More

Ate here Saturday evening over bank holiday. Experience spoilt by inconsiderate dog owners who seemed to assume we wanted to pet their dog during our meal. Food OK but pork was overcooked and dry. Service average and wine expensive. Would probably not return.

Very friendly staff & dog, large portions and worth the wait. Situated near to the Llangollen canal in Wrenbury. Caravan site and childrens play area behind the pub.

To arrive at a restaurant on a Saturday evening wanting a table for four often ends with you being turned away. However, the staff in the Cotton Arms despite being very busy managed to find us a table. I am glad that they did as we had a wonderful meal accompanied by excellent beers.

Having heard about this pub from a friend we thought we'd give it a try, We were glad we did the food was excellent, my wife had a ploughmans the size of which amazed even a friend who has an appitite that don't stop. The rest of us had various meals from the menu. Then the Irish music crowd came... More

We came across this pub while visiting some friends. I glanced at the menu that had a wide range of choice so we decided to return and have a meal with family. To our surprise it was a Wednesday and they had a Lunch Club menu on. The price being £6 that included a starter and a main. Although there... More
