Food very good service excellent. Home from home with very up market surroundings and food. Lovely dinning room and lounge for relaxing. Old building guess it was an old manor house. Loads of character. Would highly recommend.

Something for everyone on the menu and reasonable priced considering the quality and locally sourced produce used. Service was excellent too.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel, and enjoyed lunch, dinner and breakfast. All hearty portions, beautifully presented, great tasting, and nothing is too much trouble for the chefs or the waiting staff, who were all fantastic.

Visited whilst staying at the hotel - there are 2 rooms but only one was in operation the evening we dined. It's fairly small and the tables are quite close to each other although we had one by the window which was nice. Good menu with the option to select from both the a la carte and table d'hote. We... We stayed at this hotel for one night, for my husbands 50th birthday, the room was amazing, it was a deluxe double it was very clean and the view was lovey, I asked for champagne and cupcakes for the room on arrival, and also got some fruit and chocolates curtesy of the hotel which was a very nice touch. It... More

Second time visit to a wedding reception. First time last November they ran out of food and delays occurred whilst food was being cooked and second time in April 2016 at the evening reception the food was bland and overcooked. Drinks dear too, £36 for a run of the mill bottle of Pinot Grigio so think about your guests. Be... More

We were visiting for afternoon tea which was lovely. A good selection of sandwiches and cakes. The best bit was the beautiful scones with clotted cream and jam. we couldn't eat everything put in front of us but the staff kindly boxed up several cakes for us to bring home. The delightful panelled room where we were seated overlooked beautiful... More
