Every time we visit food is good - always expect a cheap and cheerful time and tables not squashed together in lovely surroundings

We often meet, 3 or 4 times a year, with friends from Northwich. We live in Audlem. Both places are about 8 or 9 miles from the Rising Sun. We always have the same meal, fish chips and mushy peas. It has always been good but the landlord, Martin, from a few years ago has recently returned. It was fantastic,... More

Despite having a beer garden and some tall tables This is to me not really a drinkers pub it just seems to lack atmosphere for that it's more of somewhere you just Come for a meal and that's a shame because they keep good quality cask ales and plenty of guest beers. However the food is good I had a... More

Lovely atmosphere, warm welcome, friendly staff. Wide menu choice, we chose off the smaller value range - great tasty fish and chips.

Quite often pop here with the hubby. Its a bit pricey but the food is really nice, good atmosphere and not the normal pub menu you would expect, has the usual faves but with a bit of a classier twist.

Popped out for a bite to eat and made a very good choice. Lovely food, right price, good service. The choice was good from standard Sunday roast options to fajitas and burgers. My girlfriend chose posh mac n cheese and I had sea bass and scallop risotto. Both were delicious and served in good time. Nice cosy little areas to... More

The layout of this pub is quiet traditional and that makes it quite warm and welcoming! I also noticed that dogs are allowed in the bar area. We arrived here on a Friday night and it was relatively busy so I would recommend booking to ensure you get a table! As it is a popular eatery. The food quality was... More
