We visited the Nags head last Sunday after reading the reviews on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. The home cooked food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the chocolate cheesecake. The service was friendly and the it was very good value. Definitely a place that we will visit again.

We had a carvery meal with a good choice of roasts, beautiful Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes and lots of vegetables, the sweets were gorgeous all freshly made. The full English breakfast was excellent. In all a very lovely experience

This was a birthday celebration dinner First couple to arrive we shown to some comfortable seating in front of a lovely warm fire Everyone enjoyed the food, it was simply delicious and we will be returning One of the ladies named Lou also bakes the most tasty and beautiful looking cakes. The hotel restaurant is full of old world character.

I absolutely cannot fault the Nags Head. Friends and family have stayed at the hotel on more than one occasion and they were all made to feel so welcome from the start. Special thanks go to Lou for always being helpful, friendly and going that extra mile. The breakfasts are cracking and the restaurant provides proper home cooked food which... More

We come here for Sunday lunch about once a month. The food is great and the prcing excellent. Its family owned and run with the family very much 'hands-on' with a can-do attitude. I always feel a place where the owners are directly involved has the edge and this is certainly the case here. Last comment seemed to be about... More

I booked this restaurant for Sunday lunch last minute. The girl who answered the call was very helpful and friendly and explained she had a large party of 10 in at 1pm and would call me back. She called back and said she could do that. She arranged for us to be at the end of the restaurant so that... More

We wanted somewhere different for a spontaneous Sunday lunch. Quick call to book a table and off we went! Great warm welcome by the staff, great service and amazing food, it really was amazing! Home cooked, not processed rubbish, home made to die for desserts as well. We will defiantly be back soon, thanks for a great time.

We were a family party of 8. We went here for Sunday lunch. This is a small family run establishment and is very homely & the staff friendly. We all enjoyed our meals - although there was an excellent choice of fresh vegetables - cabbage, cauliflower cheese, carrots & mashed swede -they were not to the children's liking so the... More
