The room was a bit dated but clean and tidy and the shower is fab. The breakfast was superb proper bacon and sausage , lovely coffee. We had an evening meal too which was very tasty a good restaurant standard and good value for money. Would reccomend

We had a family meal here this last week. The pub is lage and comfortable, with a pleasant seating area outside. We sat in the large conservatory restaurant which is lovely. The service was good and the food nicely presented. The beer is good. I am sure that under the new management, The Eaton Oak will only get better.

I have been visiting this pub since the days it was known as The Rocket and have always loved it but my last visit with friends was a real disappointment. The pub lacked atmosphere, one couple walked out letting everyone know how bad the food was and it was far from the good old days. We had to the choose... More

We tried Friday night / Steak night......dissappointing to say the least. Waitress and food were both medioacre. The girl behind the bar was the only bright light of our evening here. Pate starter was fine, but the Steak was average (the waitress mixed up which was med/well and which was med/rare!), and desert (fudge cake) was regretful....Waitress ignored the fact... More

We live not far from The Eaton Oak and had family staying there while visiting us. We joined them there for an evening meal. We were a party of 6 adults, one child and one baby. On booking we had advised the need for a pram, and we were shown to a table with plenty of room. The food was... More

Staff very friendly. Food was reasonable for the price paid. Prosecco was flowing because it was cheap. All in all a good night.

There were ten of us who attended The Eaton Oak for lunch today . The table was ready for us and all our main meals were fine. Portions are quite big, so we were very happy. When it came to dessert again most people were happy, but I was served up the berry Roulade, and the cream inside was off!... More

Ate here as a last minute decision. It wasnt very busy at lunchtime. We were made very welcome and served very quickly and with great humour. The 2 or 3 course set menus are very good value, but we decided to go for other items off the main menu, where the prices were still very reasonable. My meal of liver and... More
