Arrived on a sunny Sunday evening to find that 'due to unforeseen circumstances' they were not serving food. Turns out they had run out of food, most real ales, crisps and nuts! Poor.

Came here with a big group and had a great meal! They were even able to get the kids meals out quickly for us since they were starving. Big portions and very tasty! Lots of character and a big outdoor space for nice sunny days.

This is a beautiful location with a decent-sized pub garden with plenty of tables & chairs. We arrived early for lunch & were served quite promptly (despite a sign saying they anticipated delays in the kitchen). My bangers & mash were under-done & tasted a...More

I stayed here September on an offer two nights for £99.00. Just had a bank statement and have been charged twice. In the process of getting my money back. Has this happened to any one else?
