We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the convivial surroundings of the Bull & Butcher. Traditional pub food served hot and well, good choice of drinks and, most importantly for us, friendly, welcoming and efficient hosts. We shall return to this fine value establishment with enthusiasm....More

A disappointing meal, one steak meal was burnt and cold and was replaced, the roasts were also tepid and mediocre, the service was very slow and glad we sat in the bar as the dining room looked soulless. The puddings were good. Shall not return.

Unusual menu with many interesting dishes. Not the cheapest restaurant but the food is well prepared and has premium meat on the menu.

Visited with a group of 7 of us. Really great Sunday lunch. The starters were very good. The roast beef was deliciously pink and tender. The roast potatoes were very well cooked - often they can be hard and unappetising for a large group but...More
