Great place, food fantastic. A Pizza here costs more than a typical chain restaurant pizza, but it is in a different league. Cooked in a proper wood fired pizza oven, they use top quality ingredients. Certainly worth a visit.

We recently lost my uncle and the service was at the Chiltern Crematorium. We needed a local venue that could host what we thought would be 60 people. I contacted Rafael to make sure it was available and we went to meet him that afternoon. The venue is lovely with a big restaurant area and a separate comfy seating area,... More

I love the feel of this Restaurant. It's recently been refurbished I think and it really has that rustic Italian vibe to it. The service was quick, staff friendly and most importantly the food was great! Would recommend the Parma Pizza!

Lovely Italian food. Very authentic but very expensive. Nice as a special treat. The staff were attentive, the food, as mentioned was very very good; however the wine was expensive. Not an every day kind of place, but recommended for a special occasion.

We ended up here as the other pub in the village where we were staying was closed for the evening. My pasta although tasty was undercooked for my liking, I'm not a fan of "al dente" my husbands tuna dish he said was good, as was our friends pizza and chicken livers. The calamari starter was like rubber! Wouldn't recommend... More

Went for a business lunch. There were three of us. I wasn't aware that it was Italian as I had never been before. This really is a wonderful place. I had to change a bottle of wine as it was off (always a bit embarrassing) but this was no problem with the owner. All of the wine is imported from... More

This is our local pub restaurant which we love because the food quality is generally very high. We love the large beer garden with sunny outlook and the staff are friendly. It ha on the expensive side for wine though, considering its relatively remote village location.

My son and I visited for a quick pint but we're so impressed by the friendly welcome and the obvious relish that the locals were showing to the pizza, that we stayed for a pizza ourselves. This proved a great decision and the pub turned out to be owned and run by a family from Naples who imported all their... More

Thank you so very much for your enthusiastic review, we are very happy that you enjoyed our offering here at the plough. We note your comment about our wines and their lineage. Our wines are predominantly from the abruzzo region, we import them ourselves, and have a close relationship with the producer Marchesi di Cordano. These wines are of exceptional... More

Easily the best pizza in the area with a real log oven with fresh dough. If you like bad pizza sure stick to Pizza Hut or generic dull expensive pizza express. The server peroni and craft larger too.

Thank you for taking time to leave us your positive feedback. With so many pizza outlets and bars claiming to produce authentic pizza, we are thrilled when our customers appreciate our original artisan produce. We are passionate about our food and you obviously are too, so hope to see you again very soon . More
