I was surprised to find The Pomeroy so quiet on a Friday evening, we had our pick of tables and areas. It's been renovated during the past year and a large conservatory added. It's lovely. We did miss the fire that used to be in the restaurant - told there's one round the corner in the bar, but in that... More

Ok so the pub itself is amazing, beautiful chic decor..amazing outside seating area - I can imagine in the summer it would be beautiful! However...the food doesn't match up with the prices they are charging! Food was brought out to us not complete, not what it said on the menu..spoke to the waitress who to be honest didn't have a... Lunch for five to celebrate my aunty's 80th birthday. We drove from Somerset this morning and surprised her, and had a thoroughly lovely meal at the Pomeroy. The staff could not have been more helpful and lovely, and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed a sharing platter for starters, new flavours for my relatives, and they loved it. then we... More

Refurbished fairly recently, the Pomeroy was a good choice for lunch. Plenty of choice on the lunch menu and helpful staff.

Good warm entrance on a cold February morning with sleet falling. Guided to a table in a new extension with a chic modern radiator. Interesting choice of food on the menu at reasonable prices. I had gammon and pineapple with chips. Should have asked for a senior portion because the meat was so generous. Finished with cheese cake.

Hi Peter, Thank you so much for your kind words about your visit to The Pomeroy. We look forward to welcoming you back, maybe minus the sleet, and with a little sunshine, to make use of our lovely external areas. More

We met up with friends on a Saturday night for what turned out to be a disappointing meal. I had the breaded sprats to start which were fairly bland and tasteless, I fancied a fillet steak for main but they had run out of all steaks except ribeye. I decided to go for the wagyu burger and asked for it... More

Good evening, I wanted to assure you that we take feedback very seriously here at The Pom, whether Positive, or constructive criticism. I am so sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations on Saturday. Our daily deliveries and orders are based on assumed sales, and sometimes we sell out of specific items, and occasionally we have to waste... More

Seemed very nice. Was busy on Boxing Day. Drinks and staff were great. A nice little location. We didn't eat just a passing break after a walk. Didn't see te food but would like to return to give it a try. Looks perfect for a summer drink in the garden. Amenities were very clean too.

Visited The Pomeroy Inn for my granddaughters birthday. It is a nicely decorated and inviting pub and eatery. Leans more towards a restaurant than a pub but the menu has pub classics as well as a comprehensive selection of sharing platters, starters, mains and of course sweets. The full menu is on their website and there were a selection of... More

We chose The Pomeroy for our Dads wake, he was a regular visitor here. I can only say that the buffet we chose was of a very high standard, none of that old steamed cheep bread. We were attended to superbly by all the staff. We had lunch here a few days ago while sorting menu for the wake ,... More

Description
Nestled in Little Chalfont, a couple of miles south east of Aylesbury, The Pomeroy sits near the chalk and beech landscape of the Chiltern Hills. Set in the heart of rural Buckinghamshire (or Midsomer Murders Country as it's known by fans of the TV series) it's ideal for scenic local walks. The pub is also close to the Roald Dahl Museum, Chiltern Open Air Museum and Benjamin Disraeli's country hideaway, Hughenden Manor.
